I try to go to the store as seldom as possible, so I go every 7 - 10 days. There are two grocieries only a few minutes away, so it's not a chore to get there, but shopping infrequently cuts down on 'impulse' buys. (If I don't know about the nice peaches on display today I can live without them!) With only two to feed, we don't need a lot, and with food available so near by, I don't need to run a mini-store in my cupboards or freezer. (Let the store pay the electricity to keep all that stuff cold!)

I usually only go once a week. With it being just the 2 of us now it is much easier.

Major purchases, freezer items, cleaning and paper goods, canned goods, etc. Once a month. Perishables, as needed..I don't live in town so the trip is 35 miles + or -. Can you tell I hate to go to town?

Once a week. I call that my rambling days. I look over all the ads and I make a list where the bargains (if any) are. I have a "route" that means I don't do any back tracking. I will ramble through Big Lots, $Tree, etc. I usually run into friends, so it is a chance to see people that I wouldn't see otherwise.

I always buy ahead so if the weather happens to be bad, I don't need to go out. I also get a good bit of exercise, pushing the carts, which is a good thing.

Just once a week, and maybe have to pickup other items during the week. Town is 20 miles away so I try not to go unless I have to. When I worked in town I did shopping daily, I liked that much better, just buy what you need and not tote a ton of stuff all at once.

We get paid every two weeks so we shop every two weeks. I just joined Costco so I could buy a good quality dog food so I plan to go there once a month or two. It's about 30 miles away so we won't go often.

As little as possible. I hate grocery shopping. Hubby will stop for bread and things like that, but we wait until the end of the month and all bills are paid to see what we have left to eat on, so once a month would have to be my answer.

I usually shop every week. We're empty-nesters so it's pretty easy because food is no longer inhaled at the drop of a hat.

I always went once per week when we had a real work/job related schedule.....Now that we are retired, I keep a running list of things that I need and whenever anyone goes to town (not that far really) we pick up those items. I like a well stocked pantry but I think that I spend less money this way, especially when my husband is shopping because he sticks pretty close to the list ....If I am shopping and see something interesting or on sale...I'm more likely to buy it.

I do like Pris does: once a month to stock up in city 40 minutes away, then perishables locally when needed. If I had a grocery with decent prices locally, I'd probably go every 7-10 days or so....just so there weren't so many bags to carry in to my house.

With careful planning, I only have to shop, every two weeks.

I keep a running list and shop every two weeks when I get paid. Today is grocery day. UGH!

I dislike shopping so I tend to stretch it out. There are 4 of us, two teen boys but they have to buy their own junk if they eat everything I buy in one sitting. I do go to the Peach stand about twice a week if I need veggies that I am not growing already. I can get milk and cereal from the Dollar General where DH works. I tend to buy meat on sale so I usually have plenty to keep on hand.

I should also mention that a trip to the grocery store is an event- we live out in the country and town is about 15 miles away. Dollar General and the Peach stand are in our little town.

I live about 40 miles from the local market so usually on Friday nights I stop and get all our shopping done for the next week and head home. I work in town so if I need anything or forget something I just run on my lunch hour.

I have a chalkboard in my kitchen, and a running list is kept there. Even if I forget my paper list, I can usually close my eyes and see the board list. I works really well.
Since DH loves to go to the grocery store, I certainly let him. He would stop every day if he could. He is always afraid of missing a good unadvertised sale.
I, on the other hand, could live out the rest of my life without shopping at all. I don't like to make decisions, and shopping is full of them.
Our freezer stays pretty well stocked, so very rarely do I need to make pot shot runs to the store.
Maybe for beer for DH, but that is about it.

We go to a warehouse store every six weeks or so, to a grocery store about every other week, and to the local (3 blocks away) grocery store almost every day. I like very fresh produce.

We have 3 teenagers. We try to shop once a week, but sometimes hit the store mid-week as well.
