Ok RC, Cynic, and others. Here's a question for you.

Is it possible to separate the audio from the video from YouTube?

In theory, yes. In actuality, mostly no. From one brand and model to the next, most PCs operate at the same voltage, plus or minus a bit, and use mostly the same hardware inside purchased from the same suppliers, batteries included. What can vary in batteries is the physical size, location and type of connectors, storage capacity and hardware/software for communication and control. Batteries tend to be of custom size by brand and model to fit into the compartment available, Also, some brands do have proprietary battery firmware. Can you put a Ford engine into a Chevy? Sure, but the size, the connections and the management is going to take a lot of effort to get it to work. Cheaper and easier to put a Chevy engine into a Chevy. Same with batteries. For both PCs and phones, there are aftermarket batteries for some models that may fit and work. They don't tend to be of the same quality as an OEM part and frequently have less storage capacity (fewer mAh). You have to be careful when you order an extra battery from a third party seller, sometimes there's an obvious reason why what you're looking at is cheaper than what the manufacturer sells.

I hope you're able to get your PC cleaned up. If this is an instance of the installation of unwanted items and that's happened before, that might suggest that your security software isn't doing its job. And/or that your internet use habits need to be reviewed a bit. Once you get things back to normal, if you're not using one already, you might consider using a well rated security system. When you use a comprehensive program, utilities like Win Patrol become unnecessary. Attached as information for other readers is a link with trusted ratings of available programs. The not-free versions tend to be more comprehensive. The better rated free ones are capable but many have fewer features. Getting a multi-user license you share within your family or friends can reduce the cost. Also, many internet providers provide top rated products for free to subscribers. On the upper right hand corner of the screen below the X, you will see three dots: Click that and a screen will pop up. Scroll down that screen to Settings. Click on Settings and scroll down to Font Size. Click on the triangle on that line and change it to Medium.

You have to have a picture of the book jacket on your computer first. You can do that by actually taking a picture of it (assuming you have the book) and putting it on your computer the way you would any other picture or by saving an image of it that you find on Amazon or Goodreads etc to your computer. From there, when you are on the club website and click to upload a picture, go to wherever you have stored the image.

Firefox has a youtube downloader ad-on
It will download videos or just the MP3.

there are several youtube downloaders for Firefox, but I use "Easy Youtube Downloader 5.2 and it works fine for me....

For just the audio, just use something like Freecorder and record the audio. You don't have to download the whole audio and video for that.

I like the firefox add ons there are several you can look at and choose from as mentioned

I use a converter that downloads the video and then converts it to music allowing you to choose a music format. This works better than a sound recorder because you may be recording other sounds that your computer may make. Do a dearch because I can't remember the name of it.

I use a little program called Freecorder to record radio programs. Audacity will work too. You can download the whole Youtube video and audio if you like. Not sure if you're just looking for a way to record the audio thinking you can't save the whole file or not.
