Nice Kindle book deals from Amazon today

Has anyone read Before I Go to Sleep? I was tempted to get it, but I don't want too much suspense. I did order The Thirteenth Tale.

Thank you! Although I normally just get the freebie books (Amazon isn't making a profit from me!), I picked up "The Dog Lived" and "Before I Go To Sleep", which I have been wanting to read. My friend read it and really liked it, but I can't comment yet on how much suspense there is in it.

I just finished the book The Dog Lived and absolutely loved this book.

Not only did the dog live but so did the author as a survivor of breast cancer. It is one of the best cancer books I have read in a long time. I loved the humor in it as well.

seasidecottage .. i love your name! Its my dream house... lol Anyway, i recently added an arbor to my yard. I bought it for 150 at lowes, and am really pleased with it. But i wish i had waited to build my own,,,so i wonder, are you handy? If you need it to be cheap you could find a woodworking plan to build your own. I found the perfect swing arbor plan for myself on amazon . Im not sure what you want planted on it, or how sturdy you need it, but ive seen an arbor made out of 3 old wooden rung ladders. So charming! Perfect for annuals. When i was searching for an arbor i looked online but decided local would be best..because shipping can get crazy and its nice to see in person the quality. Good deal on Kindle with audible plan(almost free)

It's a good practice in forums to not resurrect old threads - start your own instead. This one is over two years old. I don't think a Kindle is a very suitable device for audio books, it's too large. If you want to listen from a Kindle, you may as well buy a tablet. Look instead for some kind of MP3 player, iphone, or smartphone. Sandisk/Sansa mp3 players can be found for $30 that are Audible compatible. I recommend you check to see what your local library may offer. Many have current and expansive collections of audio books that, like Audible, can be downloaded over the internet but unlike Audible, are free. Almost all also have collections of audio books in CD form that can be easily transferred to an audio player.

Very nice of you to give me good advice, Joe and Crafty! It is a Kindle Fire HD. I ended up going onto the Amazon site, logging in to my account and deleting the unwanted books from there. Next time I will "long hold" and delete. Thanks so much for your help!

Pixel of ink email letter does not have the religious based books they have a separate site and email list for those, but they do have quite a few of the fantasy/vampire related and romance ones thrown in there but I like mystery and adventure and I have a lot of those I have picked up through there. Seems like since Twilight there are now tons of Vampire books. for those with younger readers pixel of ink also has a site just for young readers. Pixel of Ink Ã¯Â¿Â½ Young Edition. and Christian Kindle Books on a Budget!

Amazon has lots of free books if you don't want to pay even that little bit. I don't have a kindle just an Ipad and a computer so I downloaded the Kindle app at Amazon and have quite a collection of their free books and especially their free low carb cookbooks for Paleo and things like Coconut flour and Almond flour...check out their book club because they always have freebies listed..

I pick up at least one free book a day from Amazon. I get the 3 email lists with all the great deals and freebies daily. Pixelofink.com, bookbub.com, and bookgorilla.com.
So many wonderful free books offered daily. I have the kindle app on all of my devices which allows me to read any kindle books, but I can also read other formats like epub with my other reader apps like aldiko, there are free lists for those also out there.
Today there are another 2 of the J.A. Konrath series for free and one for 99c. I now have just about that entire series by picking them up every time one was on for free. The main character is a woman detective, her name is Jacqueline "Jack" Daniels which is why the names of the books are all drink names.

You can also sign up for Book bub and they have lots of free books,and low cost ones as well.They send me an email every day with their book lists and I have gotten a lot of the free ones.Besides that,it also goes thru amazon as well.
