A frozen shoulder. It was absolutely awful and I am so thankful to be rid of it!

The most painful was the time I jumped into a pool as a kid and landed on my dad's head, I think I cracked a rib, but it was never confirmed. It hurt for months.

Hmmm I guess it was when Tatum stepped on my toe and broke it a couple of years ago? I'm not accident prone, so haven't had any injuries.

My motorcycle accident 11 years ago when I ended up in the hospital flat on my back for 2 weeks. Came home and was on a walker and in a wheelchair for months. Broke the bone that joins your lower leg to your knee cap right at the knee cap. Dr. said if I ever break it again he would have to fuse my knee and I would never be able to bend my leg again. That is how I ended up with a motorcycle trike.

No breaks this time, but one day I was standing on a pile of rocks and fell backward. You don't know pain until you fall onto a pile of rocks.

A broken left foot. I painfully walked around on it for
almost a month. They had to do a CT Scan to reveal a broken bone under another bone. I was in a cast for 3 months.

Two ruptured discs in my neck. My discs are slowly all showing signs of degeneration(sp?). No real cause or cure and not covered by insurance since they all consider it pre existing.

Probably the most serious was being overcome with Carbon Monoxide. That wasn't an injury so much, but I almost died and it affected my memory.

The worst injury I've had was probably when I touched a bare wire at work with a screw driver. It caused a small explosion and tripped a 400 amp breaker. I got first, second and third degree burns on my hands. That was the day I was supposed to go to my Kellogg 25 year dinner at the Peabody Hotel. I spent the evening at the hospital instead.

My right are being caught in a packing machine at work. It now has 2 plates and 12 screws in it. It broke both bones just above the wrist. Thankfully it works okay. I just can't hold the same amount of weight as I used to, with it. And an ugly scar on both sides.

The laceration on my right arm. Just happened 5 days ago and was my first ambulance ride as a patient.

It would have to be the time as a teenager I ran into a guidewire. It took the top layer of skin off of my neck as I fell.. I hit the ground so hard it knocked me out.

Last December a family friend passed away after a 3 year battle with cancer. After our flight to New Hampshire, we rented a car and drove straight to the funeral home for the wake.

I had just parked the car and as all three of us took off our seat belts, we heard squealing tires and then a huge crash. A drunk driver hit our parked car.

I was taken by ambulance to a local hospital. I had a broken toe, serious lower back pain, sore neck, etc. My son's knees broke through the back seat and my daughter had a large bump on her head. We did make it to the funeral the following morning.

That was my worst injury in 50 years.

I had a concussion when I was a teenager. Had headaches for 2 months. One whole summer was shot to he!!.

The most painful was when I fell, and really messed up my knee. I think I probably have a torn ACL, but I don't have medical insurance, so I just iced it, and wrapped it. It still hurts to this day, and I can't bend it. It happened 2 years ago.

Hmmmmm...this is a tough one. Injury? I am going to pick having my foot run over by the back end (where the counter weight is) of a forklift, that had hard rubber tires and was fully loaded with thirty 90 pound banquet tables. My two smallest toes were crushed, the tip of the third smallest was crushed and I had to have surgery on it. I was on crutches for 7 weeks. The first doctor I went to, sent me back to work the same day it happened.

When I was about 11 I was carrying a gallon glass jar of water down a sloped driveway to put it in the car.Somehow it slipped out of my hands,jar broke and sliced a 2 inch gash inside my wrist.Mother had the good sense to wrap my wrist with a towel,keep pressure on it and rushed me to the hospital.The cut was up and down and slightly nicked the artery.If it had been horizontal I probably wouldn't be gracing all of you with my presence right now!LOL It puzzles me to this day how that jar broke,landed on the ground and sliced my wrist???

Vicki, my toes were run over by a forklift either two or three years ago too. It was also the back wheels with a 10,000 pound counterweight. I chose not to go to the hospital, but before the day was over my foot was so swollen and hurting like the dickens that I couldn't wear my shoe so I went. I had some broken toes too, but didn't have to have surgery.
They put me on light duty for a few weeks because I couldn't work my regular job without wearing safety shoes. Talk about boring!!!!!

Helping pull up a large man at work last year, straining the muscles in my neck, shoulder and upper back. I couldn't move my neck very much for a week. Last time, over a year ago, I injured my back because a >400 lb man put his hand on my shoulder after I told him over and over to grab the iv pole and not me. He bore all his weight on my shoulder! It messed up my lower back and was put on light duty for that too.

Then there's the time when I was about 5 years old and went out to play early one morning against my parents wishes and got hit in the head with a brick by a retarded neighbor boy. Blood gushing down my face, running into my parents bedroom where they were still sleeping. I got three stitches and learned to listen the hard way.

A busted knee cap when I was 14. I was on crutches for 6 weeks. And it came back to haunt me forty years later.

A broken heart.

I've had other injuries and surgeries, but they healed.

When i was 3 i fell on the radiator in our living room.My siblings were ice skating across the hiway and i wanted to watch them.My mom told me NO.She went upstairs to get ready for a meeting and i pushed a chair over by the window and stood on it.I went to lean on the window sill so i could see better asnd the chair slid out from under me,and i fell on the radiator and stuck to it.I let out this blood curdling scream and Mom was there in a flash.I don't think her feet even touched the stairs.She pulled me off,but a good deal of my skin stuck to the radiator,and i still bear those big scars on my left arm,from the elbow ,to just above the wrist.

I remember that day as if it happened yesterday.

Injury would be a bicep tear. I've also had Torticollis but I wouldn't classify that as an injury.

OK Wildchild quit the fancy words -lol. I googled and Torticollis is wry neck if anyone wants to know. I had that too as well as pulled backs. I think I am the only person I know who hurts less now than when they were younger.

It was during a car accident, broken femor and busted forehead.

Still have hardware in the leg, and scars both on the leg and my forehead.
