I'm leaving this morning for a one-week business trip to Vegas, so I needed to post my pic early. I've had this toad abode for years and finally---someone moved in.

That is really cute Rita. Have a great time in vegas even if it is for business.

I posted one similar to this yesterday but it was very late so thought I would post this today. This is a Mexican Red Bird of Paradise in my front yard.

It is a person, but looking closely at the original, he is sitting down next to a blue cooler. This zoom on the first image gives a better idea of the size relative to people. According to wikipedia it is 160 ft tall, 1180 ft long at the top, and descends about an inch from one end to the other. It was built to bring water to Nimes, and it only descends 56 ft over the course of its 31 mile length. Truly impressive.

My sweet Aunt and Uncle (my mother’s surviving brother) who celebrated their 70th anniversary this past weekend. It was actually last week, but their kids and grandkids and greats celebrated this past weekend. We didn’t make the trip, but we did visit last fall when we celebrated their 90th birthdays. Amazing they still live in their home. He painted the picture that is hanging above them in the photo.

raven, I found a (live) potato bug on the front door yesterday. I haven't seen a potato bug in years, probably since I stopped veg gardening. I remember at home when I was a kid, going up and down the rows helping Mom pick them off the plants.

Cute picture Rita. I had one for 8 years when we lived out in the country. I didn't bother with it when we moved here. Mine wasn't as cute as yours. It was just a plain pot that I broke.

Casey, I like all the pictures people send in to your site, but I am especially fond of yours. I think Canada is so beautiful and I wish I was lucky enough to live there. I only have one itty bitty request, could you put the info about the photo on with the photo? I like to know what it is and where it is. I don't know what the building is you posted today but I love it and I have no idea where it might be. Vique.
