I had to go play the game to get the correct wording of the message it says for the full version I can pay the .99 this message comes up every few minutes and takes 6 seconds before it will allow me to cancel it and continue to play. The irritation factor will probably win out and I will end up paying the .99 but it's the principle that bothers me the most.

Lots of free apps contain ads. It's the way things are.

Many apps come in a "free," "sample," or "Lite" version. If you like the "lite" app, you can upgrade to the paid version.

I have about 200 apps loaded in my iPod Touch. Many were out-and-out free, and very useful, some were paid (and worth every penny like "MyStuff2" and the iBird apps), and with some I started out with the free/lite version and once I realized how much I'd use them, I later upgraded.

get a different app my fave is the Solitaire free pack it has a ton of card games and the graphics are very good, it does have small ads but never what you describe.

For every one app there will be many many more that do the same thing so go through a few to find what you like.

Aces solitaire is also a good choice.
