Free apps that aren't free

I got a blackberry playbook and have been adding games etc I downloaded free solitaire and now during the game I keep getting a message that if I pay .99 I can continue to play without interruptions....I don't mind paying the .99 but how does that make it free?

I had to go play the game to get the correct wording of the message it says for the full version I can pay the .99 this message comes up every few minutes and takes 6 seconds before it will allow me to cancel it and continue to play. The irritation factor will probably win out and I will end up paying the .99 but it's the principle that bothers me the most.

Lots of free apps contain ads. It's the way things are.

Caution adding cinnamon to yeasted bread dough. Cinnamon contains a chemical compound (cinnamic aldehyde) which can be detrimental to yeast growth if you add too much in the dough. It is suggested to limit cinnamon to amounts below about 1/4-teaspoon per cup of flour in the recipe, or you may find your dough won't raise properly. If you Google - vegan cinnamon roll recipes, or dairy-free cinnamon roll recipes - you should find a lot of recipes that use non-dairy "milks", including soy, rice or nut milks. Use shortening or coconut oil instead of butter. I almost always use coconut oil in yeast breads instead of butter. I find it helps keep the bread fresher longer. Perhaps a dairy free recipe for Hot Cross Buns with some cinnamon added to the dough or cinnamon added to the icing will work for you for a bun-like finished product, rather than the traditional rolled-out type of recipe. Do you have enough free space on your phone? Can you install another free app just as a test? Does the app have requirements for your phone that it might not meet? (OS version, etc?) Are you on Wi-Fi or cellular? Is your phone configured to only install apps while on WiFi? All of these could be possibilities. Also, reboot and try again. That stupid reboot sometimes "just works."

Many apps come in a "free," "sample," or "Lite" version. If you like the "lite" app, you can upgrade to the paid version.

I have about 200 apps loaded in my iPod Touch. Many were out-and-out free, and very useful, some were paid (and worth every penny like "MyStuff2" and the iBird apps), and with some I started out with the free/lite version and once I realized how much I'd use them, I later upgraded.

get a different app my fave is the Solitaire free pack it has a ton of card games and the graphics are very good, it does have small ads but never what you describe.

For every one app there will be many many more that do the same thing so go through a few to find what you like.

Aces solitaire is also a good choice.
