What brings a smile to your face? I mean, really, -- there has to be ONE or ALOT of things that make you smile

What brings a smile to your face? I mean, really, -- there has to be ONE or ALOT of things that make you smile
Right now the thing that makes me smile the most is my new grandniece. Just a teensy, tiny thing at 6 lbs 5 oz, but she's beautiful!!!

Yes!!

I have an "inny." So does my hubs.

Are you where you thought you would be in this phase of your life?
No, I'm still in California, and I thought I'd be living in either Hawaii or Italy by now.

Another type of smile: I am healthy and have so much to live for

I have an "inny"

I would like to think so.. only our finances would be different, but family wise...YES!

Do you know anyone with the same birthday as you?If so who? ** Date, yes, a friend's child. But not the same year. But I about a year ago I met someone in my town with the same first/middle name as me who was born the same year as me, and has 4 kids, too! Are you afraid of bugs? ** I used to be phobic, especially spiders. But as a mom that was not acceptable to me so I trained myself out of the panic-fear. I didn't want my kids to learn that from me. When is the next time you think you are going to a movie? ** Well, since the next Harry Potter movie has been postponed from November to next July, it might be that long. I know the whole family will go to that. It's possible I won't see a movie until then, it's just not my favorite pasttime. What is one thing that always needs to be in the fridge? ** Milk or cream for my coffee. Do you eat whip cream straight out of the can? ** Only when no one is watching. Which do you like better Taco Bell or Olive Garden? ** Olive Garden, mostly b/c it's not fast food. I haven't been to one in years, though, and I don't think I've ever been to a Taco Bell. I like Mexican food, but when I want it I want it served by someone speaking Spanish. ;o) (OK, well, that probably happens at Taco Bell, too.) On a tortilla chip, do you like salsa or cheese? ** SALSA! Spicy and thin, "restaurant style." And I love it! My most favorite snack food. Another reason I want a real Mexican restaurant, salsa served with those warm, thin, crispy chips. MMMM!

Do you lock all your doors before you go to sleep? No. I want someone to come in so I can shoot them. :)) What holiday is your birthday the closest to? Halloween. Can you sleep with your TV on? TV is on, but I turn the volume down and turn on a radio talk show. I listen all night and at 5, change the station to another one. I always automatically wake up at the right time to do it. Have you ever went in the wrong restroom? Yes....a few weeks ago. I went in one at walmart. Different walmart that I am used to going to, and restrooms were reversed. I walked in and a man was standing at a urinal. There was a partition around him, so I didn't see anything. I said, "Oh, my God!!! Sorry!!!" LOL!!!

Do you know anybody who has a birthday in November? Yes, a niece or nephew but I can' think which one! Is there anything you need to buy at the store right now? Beef Ramon noodles at my 13 yr old stepdaughter's request :-) Is it true that you hurt the ones you love the most? I think you can hurt them the most because you love them and they love you, but I sure try NOT to ever hurt them in any serious way! What is the best thing about the beach? Watching the water, wading, picking up shells, the sun.... ok, everything :-) Have a great Friday!! You Too!

My grandkids, my dogs, my retirement, the birds at the feeder, my friends

That's a tough question. I thought I would be working til I was 65 and I retired at 60.
I thought I would be an empty nester and dh and I have a 12 year old.

Are you where you thought you would be in this phase of your life?
More or less. My husband has taken a new job...his first job in his 62 years, and he is gone 3/4 of the time, but it pays really well. That takes a little getting used to...always having to take care of things around here by myself.
