Hurting for the first time since my hystro...............

Okay as you all know I have posted poned my going to my follow up visit where they wanted to check the tennis ball size syst on my overy.....I have not been hurting...first postpone was vacation second was my dads crushed ankle...today I am hurting....have not before...my lower back and all the way around my front right side...the right side is where all my "stuff" was bunched up and that is why they had to do the full cut on my ...they left the overies and that is I beleive where this cyst is....I go back the 14th should I call monday and schedule a updated appt? I am using a heating pad and tylenol tonight...Thanks Stacy

Yes, call and let your doc know what is happening and tell them you need to come in because of the sudden onset of pain.
Don't wait if the pain gets worse....go to the ER.
Let us know how you are feeling tomorrow, please.

I will wait it out tonight carol...taking tylenol and have a heating pad on...if any worse will call in morning....problem is my doc is in missouri and I am at home in oklahoma....Stacy...thanks

Couldn't agree more. I have asked people in all the greenhouses that with the Asian Scale being so bad in the Revoluta if they would start selling Dioon Edule. I always get that puzzled, "what the hell is an Edule" look. That and the Taitungensis which is belived to be the fastest growing cycad in the world and more hardy that the Revoluta, is all but unknown to anybody outside the hobby. I love the Revoluta, but the Taitungensis blows it away in almost every catagory.

Hammom, you will know if a HOSP has claimed the box because he will go in and out of it. He will sit on top of the box and cheep away trying to attract a female. I learned from this forum to be patient. Let him think it is his for a few days. Once you see him going in and out and cheeping on top for a couple of days, set the trap at night and he won't be able to resist going in first thing in the morning. You can glue a few pieces of dry grass over the metal trap mechanism which seems to make the HOSP less suspicious of it. I have never had any other birds go into the box once the HOSP has claimed it, but I know it can happen. Use a bag you can see through like a mesh laundry bag or clear trash bag to capture the bird when you open the door to the box. That way you can be certain of the ID.

Ty to the almost everyone on here for your support, I really appreciate it so much and have learned so much from this whole experience. Last update, we have rescinded the contract, the seller has decided not to fix the wiring, and after meeting with her LA and my REA she will not budge. She has an emotional attachment with the home we were now told, we dont think she really wants to sell it. Her own LA told her she was being silly, she wouldnt even let the contractors in to get a bid on the electric..so we have moved on and to be honest I am extremely happy at this point. It has gotten to be too much for me. To try to answer some questions, the gut rehab across the street is still in the running with us, only problem is we think the rear yard is too small for the kids the way it is fenced and the placement of the garage.That was the only reason we didnt offer on it, the garage is smack in the middle of the back yard!! As far as my DH, Yes I did defer to him when it came time to write the offer, he is the sole breadwinner here and I knew how much he wanted the house,we both wanted the same result, I just let him take the lead on this at the time. We are new to the whole homebuying thing,so it was a bit stressful at the time. Diane- sigh, Im sorry you feel the way you do about me, my thread is now done so I guess you can go find someone else to "pick on". I never asked for sympathy nor did I feel I was a victim, I was looking for advice which is what this forum is here for. Please think about how you post to people, I am not new here, just new to posting. If I were a first time poster you would have already run me off. Thank you all, we will be looking at new listings in the next few weeks and hopefully will have good news to share soon!! Don't give up first timers, there is home out there for us somewhere!!

I will call today as I am still hurting...I have had one cyst rupture before and that was so terrible in pain it brought me to my knees...I don't want that again....and that was also part of my problem when they did the surgery.....I am praying the new doc in OK...will read my chart and say okay you have exhusted all options and lets just do it.....I am not sure they can do it the easy way as the endro. was wrapped around everything before and that is why they did it the old way ....encluding the overies...but at this point.....I am willing to do surgery.....I don't want to take pain pills forever (I know it will only be a few days a month when ovulating...but still.....don't want to.....so we will see....going to call the doc asap but I think Brian took my phone by accident this morning when he went to work...so will have to wait til tomorrow unless I find it.....Thanks again all....Stacy (4got to mention the only other choice I had after my hystro was also taking pain meds and I really don't want to go that route)

Still feeling the same this morning carol. Being a weekend not sure what I can do...and her being in Missouri. If it is worse I will try and call if it stays the same I willsuffer til monday and then call. My appt is the 13th and thought I would cancel it til this pain stuff happened...back to the heating pad.....Stacy

I really, really think you should go to the ER...Years ago, my DD had a cyst on her ovary and it ruptured..Don't want to scare you, but......And alot of time, when you put heat to something, it's like throwing gas on a fire, it might feel good, but doing more harm....
Please have it checked.....

I agree 100% with irishdancersgram. This is nothing to fool around with. Heat feels good, but may do a lot of harm. Just think what would happen if it ruptures. Please go - right now!!!

I have had an ovarian cyst and the pain you described was like mine. Run, do not walk, to the ER. You don't want it to rupture.

I know I should but the dr did say that if it did rupture get to the er fastly she didn't say or I didn't hear her say go if hurting....I may try and page her in a bit thanks eveyrone..STacy

Well, the pain could be a rupture Stacy. You should at least call them and see what they think. I wouldn't be putting it off any longer.

Go the the ER now, please. At least they can check you out and contact your doc.

The pain means the ovary is about to rupture. Heck. It may have already ruptured and THAT is bad news.
Stop making excuses (and I mean that in the most loving way) and go to the ER.

thats why, when my ob/gyn offered to leave one ovary for hormones, i declined the offer. the other ovary had a grapefruit sized segmented cyst on it, never had any pain. i was only 35 at the time, but i knew if he was gonna take one thing, i wanted him to take it all. so he removed cervix and everything north of there.

good luck, and please seek prompt medical attention.

Stacy, doctors schedule follow-up visits for a reason -- to make sure that everything is ok. You've already put off the appointment twice, and now you say you were going to blow off the appointment on the 13th (14th?) until you started having this pain.

YOU NEED TO BE EXAMINED BY A DOCTOR -- AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
