something that you really don't like to do and what is something that you would rather do even though most
people would disagree with you...

I would rather scrub toilets than wash dishes by hand.

So, wildchild, I have 4 1/2 bathrooms. I'll wash those dishes while you scrub the toilets. K??

I would rather scrub the floors on my hands and knees than empty the dishwasher. I don't know why I hate it so much as it is such a quick and easy task.

Cook and hire someone to do the rest

I'd rather clean both bathrooms than:

1) Dig sod up or dig dandylions
2) make 60 breakfast burritos at one time(gonna do that next week)
3) I don't have a dog, but....clean up dog poo or vomit
4) Shampoo carpets in the whole house, move all the furniture/move it all back.

My husband cleans the cat box, but I clean up the yakk. Neither of us complain about that arrangement.

I hate to empty the dishwasher, too. But I'll do it happily (it's only a 5 minute task) than clean bathrooms.

I'd rather clean bathrooms or do loads of laundry than wash dishes.

Looking down the list of replies, I think I'm with you Kat. I DO enjoy cooking certain things "once in a while" ....special kind of meals. Every day cooking, or eating, for that matter is just a pain. Maybe one of those liquid diets would work.

Oh I would gladly cook instead of doing any cleaning jobs, especially bathrooms, and wet mopping, it just causes me so much pain. Thankfully I am able to have assistance for those jobs. I would love it if I cook, he would clean up after but so far still not happening. He does on rare occasions.

Cooking for me Kat .The cleanup , because I am not organized, now that is a lot worse than cleaning bathrooms.

Clothes shopping!!! I absolutely despise it.
Especially jeans. I'm going to try men's jeans and see if I like them better.

I'm with you jasdip! I depise shopping too; wish I could hire someone to just go get me some clothes that look decent. I either have the muffin top look or the pregnant look. lol And jeans are the worst for me too; never thought about mens!

2. Put away and hang up clean clothes
3. Do yardwork
4. Go to a dentist

Dusting is what I hate to do - just plain BORING!

I don't mind cleaning anything. My favorite household chore is doing laundry. I enjoy starting with a pile of smelly stained laiundry and ending with everything clean, folded and put away. But I don't enjoy the whole process of cooking-planning, shopping, chopping,slicing, cooking, and the clean up. I do enjoy the eating part.

I would rather cook than clean 4-1/2 bathrooms! And I wash my dishes by hand because I hate to unload the dishwasher! The worst routine job is dusting--hate it!!!!

I love cooking,,,its toting at that firewood that gets me...

Now, as far as dishwashing goes,,,,i got that under control,,I just give my dishwaser a little hug, a kiss and tell her what a fine job she is doing and she's good for another week or so..

Cleaning the bathroom is another problem entirely...I don't clean it,,,,I just dig another hole and move the little house over to the new hole.

I always hated the squeaky clean feel of dishwasher dishes. We wash all our dishes by hand, it's a great way to get warm in the winter!

I would rather scrub toilets than vacuum. The noise of the vacuum cleaner hurts my ears and makes me really cranky. Love the look of a freshly vac'ed house though!

Just me in the house and that's the worst kind of cooking to do. I never did much like to cook, but I love to bake. I do like to clean up, though. I do like to wash dishes by hand. That's when I solve all the world's problems.

Don't like to vacuum (at least my back doesn't!), don't like to dust. . . I long ago realized that I was meant to be a queen!

Hey Ladies,,,take a suggestion from my 84yr old Mother

Mother lives by herself in the country and she primarily uses the back door which goes directly into her kitchen....

She has a cute little decorative plack that she embroidered hanging on the door which says,,

"DUST IS A COUNTRY DESIGNER ACCENT"

maxmom my back, too...so sometimes i use the office chair and roll around, lol...and i have a stool to do dishes but sure doesn't help to put them away...

I'd rather cook but I make such a mess when I cook that there's lots of cleaning up to do.

I don't cook anymore except for bacon and eggs occasionally. When I was young I enjoyed everything regarding my home, even cleaning, but not anymore I retired.

I AM a lucky duck. My DH dusts AND unloads the dishwasher! He also takes out the garbage and recycling; gets the newspaper in the morning; walks the dog; sweeps the front stoop; brings me novels and DVD's from the library; will pick up milk, etc. from the grocery. This all began 'small' when he retired. Until then I did *everything* for years, including mowing the lawn.

I wonder if he could learn to do my hair? LOL (I used to know a gal whose high-power attorney DH would do her highlights.)

I don't mind vacuuming since we've had the central vac; the 'noise' is all in the basement.

Gardening. I hate yard work, heat, gnats, dirt. I would rather clean 100 bathrooms.

I had rather clean both bathrooms than...run a 200 mile marathon. YES, I DO HATE CLEANING MY BATHROOMS!!! detest it. Especially when we have company over or overnite guest. I am a germ freak (not my own or my husband's germs, use to them) :)) but that toilet and shower and sink they have used..ugh!! I would not dare tell anyone else that but you all, but my husband knows how I feel...that is why he cleans the bathroom that gets used the most..

I would rather do anything else around the house than clean bathrooms. I do keep the towels, bath mat and floor clean but the rest of it - I just hate doing. Oh, I would rather iron than do bathrooms and I believe in the wrinkled look.

I hate vacuuming......and unloading the dishwasher.
DH does a lot for me around the house, fortunately but he hated to vacuum, also.

I love to cook. I like to prepare ingredients for cooking. I hate to clean up the mess I make while cooking! I don't mind polishing silver. I like to wash nice china. I hate to iron clothes, but I don't mind ironing table linens...I love using cloth napkins! I don't like to clean, pick up clutter, dust or scrub, although I know how to do all of the above. I love having pets. I don't like to clean up after them, but I cannot imagine life without a critter.

I just noticed that I have four pairs of shoes on the floor. I would rather clean up dog vomit than maintain an orderly closet. I want an orderly closet, but I don't wanna maintain it. Come over for a visit...just don't go near the closets.

I'd rather do almost anything than clean the bathroom. I HATE cleaning the bathroom. I'd probably even prefer to pick up dog poop.

I love gardening! That doesn't even feel like a chore to me. I enjoy cooking, so I don't mind that either, I just don't like to do dishes (no dishwasher, all by hand).

I hate going to the grocery store. But I do it because it's too exhausting making a list for somebody else to get it wrong....
Maybe we should for help groups to do each others 'not-so-favorite" things? I'll do your gardening if you go to the store for me...

cook!!! I love to cook, and I love to eat what I cook. But then I am also lucky, and own only one bathroom. :)

I love to garden. The dirtier and sweatier, the better.

I don't mind cooking or even doing the dishes.

what I really hate is putting away the clean laundry, unpacking and putting away the groceries and unpacking the suitcase after a trip. I've been known to continue to live out of the suitcase for days.

I detest dealing with papers. I have about six months worth of papers to sort and file. Ick.

I don't mind doing the bathrooms. I hate putting the clean sheets on the bed.
