Found a New Recipe Website

On another forum, this website was mentioned. I just looked at it, and it looks awesome. Recipes from real people complete with pictures and detail.

I store a lot of recipes on the computer, but when it comes to cooking, It goes on paper, and usually hand-written. If it's a keeper it goes into a keeper file. I've thought about a computer in the kitchen but not now. Possibly if I move to a new place.

Shelly, thanks for the site. Here's the way to post a link when you start a new thread. You go to the site them copy the whole address in the line that tells what it is. You know, the http:// address. Next you come here and tell us you found some good recipes. Then you click on Preview Message. When you get to the Preview page there are two spaces at the bottom. One says " Optinal Link URL " In that space you paste the address of the site that you copied earlier. Just below that is a place that says " Name of the Link ". You can type whatever you want in that line that helps to describe what the site is about. Here is a link that might be useful: good recipes

Annie1992 — i’m with you on that grade B real maple syrup! That’s the only thing we use when we want maple syrup. That corn syrup stuff has a mouth feel that is like cardboard gelatin. I rarely buy or use Cool Whip, but one of my in-laws used to make this particular dessert with Cool Whip and strawberries because her children liked it. She use frozen strawberries but with a lot of fresh strawberries on top. I do remember the polysorbate 60 from reading the list of ingredients decades ago. It really is gooood. Probably a recipe from one of those “Women’s Magazines” decades ago. I made this for a party, and to keep in the fast ingredients spirit, use canned whipped cream (one can discern).

Thank you Jasdip!!!! What a wonderful website, I was drooling all over my key board LOL

I have two pounds of mushrooms I bought at the farmer's market and will be making the marinated mushroom recipe. The pesto pasta (reduced calorie/fat) will be next on my list.

Ut Oh, (thud) [that was me hitting the floor !!] I never should have clicked on that link !! OMG there are so many wonderful sounding recipes there !! I marked it in my favorites and will probably be spending the afternoon there I think. (and using a whole lot of ink and paper today) I am going to start with the grilled lobster tails.

Then I am off to check out the other links that you ladies have provided. I am just now finding so many great cooking sites. Now what am I going to do with all my cook books? (I have shelves filled with them)

Wow! That's like hitting the jackpot of recipe sites!! Wonder how long it'll take me to get through all 595 pages? I'm sure going to give it a try. I searched "chicken" and found a chicken hoagy recipe that looked and sounded so good. Thanks, jasdip, for sharing.

Sharon--I like that b&bonline site a lot--I've tried several recipes and they were all good. It's my "go to" when I'm having breakfast company, especially.

Jannie, there is no sign-in required....
Gemini, Click on a picture and it takes you to the "author" with the detailed recipe and more pics to guide you along the way, on some of them. I saved the Roasted Parmesan Potatoes and they look so delicious! It has pics in the recipe/method.

Thank you--the asiago garlic bread is on my "to do" list for next week. And thank you for telling us how to get the recipes--I was ready to crawl through my monitor and shake somebody until they coughed up the recipe!
How do you find these great sites? You must be a computer genius in addition to a heck of a cook!
