WELCHOL (colesevelam hydrochloride) is a non-absorbed, polymeric, lipid-lowering and glucose-lowering agent intended for oral administration. Colesevelam hydrochloride is a high-capacity bile acid-binding molecule.
The doctor has suggested that I might want to try this drug to lower my cholesterol........Supposedly it is very expensive.......On my drug plan, it looks as if it will not be too much ... $60 for a months supply........that's a lot of money but way less than the usual cost.
Just wondering if anyone has taken this drug.....
