Had their senior 2x2x2: two pancakes, two eggs over easy, two sausage links.

Have a $25 gift certificate from MRI office, due to an appointment running an hour later than scheduled, so they gifted me. How nice :o)

already had breaded chicken so made angel hair pasta....put chicken on top and added sauce, and sprinkle cheese....

It was cleaning day today plus I gave 2 dogs a bath or should I say all 3 of us got baths. Hope they stay clean for a few days.
For dinner it was spaghetti & italian sausage, hubby also had a salad. Desert was chocolate cream pie, nothing like home made chocolate pudding for the pie.

patti, cube steak reminded me of college days when my fiance would cook minute steaks in butter, have a salad with bottled Russian dressing.

Tilapia, potato, and green beans graced my plate tonight. Tasted pretty good.

Yesterday I made a triple recipe of the ditalini shrimp salad. I brought half of it over to my friend who is home from the hospital now after having a knee replacement and kept half of it for us. We went to the races last night and had dinner there...haven't been to the horse races in about 10years. It was fun. Today and tomorrow I'm playing in a golf tournament (partner and I are in second place right now) so I was glad to have dinner already made. Tonight we'll have the salad with some corn bread.

I'm still trying to catch up from vacation. It was a really busy week at work trying to take care of things that had piled up while I was out. I wasn't able to get a lot done at home during the week. The suitcases, which have been in the living room since we got home early last Sunday morning, are finally cleaned out and ready to be put away. I got most of the laundry done today. DH had to work all day so he couldn't help, but he was able to fix breakfast.

Tonight we had a steak and baked sweet potato. The salad was spinach, fig and goat cheese with balsamic vinegar and oil and a sprinkle of crushed red pepper.

Glenda, that certainly was nice of the MRI people to do that. Most places don't care how long you have to wait. I like pancakes any old time of day or night. Isn't it funny the things we remember? When we were young and pretty broke, that would've been a really fancy dinner.

Susan, that would cost an arm and a leg in a restaurant. Bet it was delicious.

Mary, I had to laugh about the 3 of you getting a bath. You got a lot done today. I sure would love some chocolate pie! Maybe I'll make one when we get home, but I'll probably be trying to lose some pounds then.

Georgysmom, congratulations on playing so well today. Keep it up. Nice of you to feed your friend. Especially since you made ditalini salad. I do love that stuff! I've never been to a horse race or a greyhound race. Glad you had a nice night.

Kittiemom, don't you hate it when people don't cover for you when you take a vacation? Especially when you've covered for them when they're gone. It's almost not worth going except for one's sanity. Your salad sounds really good. Figs and goat cheese make a good combination.
