I've been having fun.

I made 3 batches of fudge for our church garage sale and wrapped each piece, individually, to-day, and added little felt flowers and leaves. I hope they sell

By the way, I have 25 large pices. I cut each 8"x8" pan into 9 pieces. We ate 2 of them. Had to test them, you know.

Oh, Marilyn, how I do miss Steak and Shake. DH loves their greasy chili, but I liked their fries and hamburgers with either a shake or lemonade. They are not out west here.

I have been going through a donated stash of odds and ends of yarn today and trying to find hat patterns for them for a charity project that gives young people on the San Francisco streets hats, mufflers, and mittens or wrist warmers. A friend gave me the bin of yarn over two years ago, and I have shared it with my sister and son. Now I want to knit and crochet the rest of it into useful hats and scarves. I cannot believe what my friend paid for some of this yarn. I certainly never would spend like that, especially on some of the stuff she actually bought. But I guess kids go for anything different or free, and it will be. I knit up a scarf and trimmed a hat to match with $32 of variegated purple, red, and black chenille that's twisted together with black eyelash yarn already. It will be warm.

I also have got to shampoo the family room rug. Why did I buy a light family room rug? Why?

Boy, that fudge looks good! DH, DS and I went to a big church flea mkt. this morning, got a few goodies, they were selling hot dogs, so we had to get some, and also some cookies. Potted up a couple things with impatiens later on, then we all took a nap, even the dogs!

Very unproductive day here, I fear.

It's been raining for days and days. Thought about running up to the Amish market, but didn't feel like driving an hour in the rain. Nixed that idea.

Couldn't work in the garden.

DH called and said he has to work overtime tomorrow, so he won't be able to meet me at the country house tonight--so didn't have to make my usual fancy Friday night dinner (after not seeing him for days, I like to give him a really good meal).

Mostly just hung around here, playing on the computer. Finished a book I was reading. Did wash the 'treasures' I'm taking to the roadshow tomorrow, and packed them in a couple of baskets so they'll be easy to hold while we stand waiting in line.

Just grabbed a quick dinner. According to weather.com, it's supposed to stop raining SOMEtime this evening, but don't know if there's really anyplace I want to head out to. Maybe I'll toss a pan of brownies in the oven for DH. And maybe some muffins for DD and I to munch in the car on the way to Atlantic City. Hope it's nice tomorrow. As great as the rain is for the garden, I'm getting just a bit tired of seeing it.

Okay, I'll stop complaining now....

I had a great day! I'm using vacation days for yesterday and today. Yesterday, I had a nice day, but it was a busy day. Today I had a more relaxing day. I did go to a garden center and I bought an orange tree. I played in the yard a bit, and I read outside also. I went to the grocery store, and saw a lady I know, whom I haven't seen in a long time. We had a long chat and I'm going out to her house in a couple of weeks for a better visit. I got my hair done, came home and made supper and went back outside for a while. Now I'm catching up on here...

Everyone's so busy! I got the laundry finished and put away and divided up all the meat we got yesterday at Sam's into meal-sized portions. My poor Food Saver sure got a workout. Had to stop a few times and let it rest. Now we have at least 24 meals and I have no excuse for not cooking! LOL!

Ivamae, I sure wish I had a piece (or two) of your fudge. It looks yummy. Nice touch with the little flower.

Azzalea, go ahead and complain. I sure did when we had rain 13 days in a row. Now we are just having our usual every afternoon rain, but at least it goes away pretty fast.

Whatcha' making for your luncheon, Glenda? It sounds like fun so take pics if you have time.

SheilaJoyce, when we moved in here our Florida room had off-white carpet. That sure didn't last long as that's where our TV is. We eat in there also. We replaced it with wood laminate with a cherry-like finish and it shows everything, too. GRRR!

Chilly, rainy day.
Got nothing specific done...just a little of this and that.

I bought lots of groceries and things at Wally World. I baked a rhubarb cherry pie for DS and had planned to make enchiladas but it was just too warm here to have the oven on again. I spent quite a bit of time outdoors trying to potty train my puppy.

Lots of things to do--clean house, iron, wash, work on stamp collection, clean house, cook etc
What I really did??? DH and I went with another couple to the Casino. Much more fun!!!
