I got this e-mail today and thought it was hilarious.The slaughter of the English language and the spelling should be a hint that something funny is going on!LOL How do these people think anyone could fall for this? Of course I know there are people who do fall for it but I don't see how.

I sure hope that guy stranded at the airport with my money doesn't get too hungry while he's waiting for me.Maybe he can take a little money out of that box and get himself a hot dog.LOL

my capacity to finalise this transaction with you up till date,the delay which appears to

be an arbitration is never a calculative attempt, rather, bureaucratic/administrative

error spring ed from accumulated mismanagement layed by the immediate past directors in

the bank.

i must acknowledge the fact that you can not be in best of your mood when ever you

remember the commitments and the stress you went through in the course of this

transaction,this protracted/indefinite hang of the transactions has almost cost my job if

not my bold legal actions in conjunction with police for proper findings of the truth

behind and among allegations leveled against the whole issue.As God may have it,your fund

is still as it was packed.therein,court ultimatum has been given to me, demanding that

your payment must be delivered to you accordingly.On this note,i need your lion hearted

co-operations to enable me to meet up with the targeted date.i believe that comprehensive

When I get emails like this, I tell them send me a plane ticket pre-paid to your destination. Take the cost out of the proceeds. I will be there immediately upon receipt of the ticket. No one answers me.

Curious? what airport does he want us to go to? Poor person is a little confused.
When stuff like this comes in on my regular email, I just tell them I am forwording this to the attorney general for further instructions. I get very little now.

Corgi(Alfred) and I have been in touch about this flower. I hinted I would like some seeds if he happened to be a seed saver and saved seeds from it. Here is what he said. I went out to the garden and one flower that had gone by. I have no idea how long it had gone by, but there were no seeds showing. When I got your message asking for seeds, a red flag went up concerning seeds of this plant. Way back in my memory--and that is quite some distance--I have a file that says that this plant does not give seeds. HOPEFULLY, that file in wrong, but I question it. I will continually check, but I think that I am right, and so is my file, in which case I will not be able to send you seeds. So, does anyone know if this plant makes seeds and how to harvest them? tia Sue

Beware of scam from House of Wesley mail order

Thanks. I was just noticing that I got a catalog from Burgess seed with outstanding prices, and it occurred to me that the pictures, descriptions and prices were exactly the same as House of Wesley. They show a similar, but different phone number and address in Bloomington, IL. I was just checking to see if it was indeed the same company. I had an awful experience with House of Wesley before I found the Vendor Ratings on various web sites. They charged my credit card a full month before shipping. I contacted them multiple times by e-mail and phone to cancel the order because it was too late for me to use, and they refused to cancel the order. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and got a refund. Then they shipped me the typical dead plants I've read about. I followed their own instructions and refused the shipment, having it returned to sender. They then sent me a letter advising that they fulfilled their obligation to ship me product and were rebilling my credit card. I'd already noticed the charge and disputed the rebill again. My credit card is issued by Chase, and they assured me that they charged the mercant a fee every time they canceled the charges for me and that it would stop. I also wrote back to House of Wesley threatening to contact the BBB, and state attorney general, as well as the FTC if my card was charged again, and advised them that they had violated state law by charging my card prior to shipment (and without having product in stock by their own written admission), and probably several federal laws because the business was conducted between states, over the internet and by mail. They have stopped billing my card, and I lost nothing but some time dealing with the whole mess.

Thank you for the reply. I did delete everything, 2 items, in my outbox and it's working okay today. I did the same thing,deleting, a couple days ago and it didn't work, so who knows, maybe it just needed some rest time:) Thank you again, this forum is one of the best on GW,certainly one of the most helpful.

Mr. L'Strangle, why are you asking me to fly down to Monaco? I am here now! Where are you? I am at the Casino. Blackjack table. Wearing a blue shirt. Drinking Margaritas. The waitresses know me. Boy, will this could not have come at a better time! I am really down and using markers and can't leave the table. This could not have come at a better time. The LAST thing you want to do in any way, shape or form is respond in ANY way. Then it will be known for sure as an active email address which is a "sellable" commodity.

You'd be amazed how many people get suckered on this garbage. I've lost all sympathy for them. There was a thing on the local news lately about people who have lost, in some cases, millions of dollars.
