One of three hikes I went on Saturday. All three were birding hikes at a sanctuary called Starr Ranch. Those who still watch Barn Owl cams will recognize the name.

Got there at 2:30pm, went on two hikes, had dinner there and then once the sun went down went on an owl and bat walk. Very cool place.

My garden about ten days ago.....the big sprawling plant is Japanese pumpkin, aka kabocha. It is putting out lots of squash.
