Hey! Yeah, Donna, you fooled us, lol! I was expecting to see some photos! My DH seems to be stuck on going to Charleston, for some reason. I think he went there last year for work, and he's been thinking a lot about going back for vacation. I just painted my kitchen Cilantro Cream- It's a Behr color my painter had made into SW paint. It's lovely creamy, green light, fresh. Can't find camera at the moment, but will post a pic if I can find it later. I love HD's new sample options. I went through many before picking this color :)

While the flooding caused severe devistation in particular areas, the shops in the downtown area of Wimberly remain open. It's a great destination for shopping, and keep in mind many of the shops are the livelihood for the people living there, and summer is high season. I was there about 2 weeks after the initial flooding, and only 2 of the shops were closed because of water damage, but they had huge fans running to dry things up. It wasn't from the river, but because of the amount of rain in the area and the ground being saturated, there was no place for excess water to run. This caused excessive water to puddle, and eventually flooded into a few of the shops. It's a cute little rustic village.

Measure out your space to see how much usable space you will have for the furnishings. A sectional might or might not be a good option for you. As you shop gather dimensions of pieces you like then use tape and place it on the floor so you can see how it will look space wise. As mentioned above pick your focal point. Your fireplace is so nice it seems that you should work around that.
