They have been through so much! My thoughts and prayers are with them both.

2 weeks ago my red blood count was 10.7 and the doctor said if it went below 10 they would give me something and if it went below 8 they would give me a blood transfusion. Of course mine is caused from the chemo. Is CB's DH getting chemo now?

They have had such a hard time, I am sending my best to CB and Ronnie! I hope these transfusions do the trick for him!!

I don't believe he is on anything right now Mary Ann. Last I recall he had some radiation treatments I think. She did say that he's been coughing up some green and yellow gunk and I think is hoping that a respiratory infection may be the culprit. I hope so and that it's easy to remedy.

I imagine chemo really does play havoc with your blood and immune system.

Hoping for the best for him...and her!

Yes cancer, if that is what he has, and please forgive me as I do not know can really affect your whole system My DH had to go in at least once a week, depending on the testing to get iron infusion shots as the Chemo just drained him. His Dr. kept a close eye on him --guess it worked as he is much better. Those shots are expensive and do hurt, but it worked. He also had to have several blood transfusions.
Prayers on the way for his treatments to work.
