We own a small mfg. company in Houston, and we live 10 miles away in a different zip code.

We have a business American Express account, and the mailing address is as follows:

John D. Smith

XYZ Company

11111 Smith Highway

Houston, TX 77040-4038

A neighbor in the next cul-de-sac over brought us the bill dated 5/20/08 yesterday afternoon...it was IN HIS MAILBOX. Our post office sub-station would NOT be the same one for the home and the office.

How in the world does something like this happen?

I believe the following is unrelated to the above, but adds to the uneasiness of the situation. We just got a call from AmEx Fraud department. Someone in Germany was trying to purchase gas online using DH's card. We've had it happen before, too and I think it's from bill paying and purchasing online. The compromised card has been cancelled and no fraudulent charges were posted to our account, so all is well (we hope!)
