Off for more meds....

My doctor, after our conversation on the phone yesterday, has decided to change my meds yet again. So, now I am on my way out the door to get to my HMO to pick up new meds. I have so many going that I am beginning to get confused. I need my husband to sit down with me tonight and help me figure this all out and get one of those containers going to help me.

So for now, off to get my prescription.

Have they tested you for Celiacs?

There is one here that has an arched mirror, but not exactly as you describe. I like the stuff they have here and it is reasonably priced. Ask your surgeon about the fentanyl pain patch. It's a patch that is applied to the cat's skin and will provide pain relief for up to about 100 hrs before needing to be replaced. Another option is to see if an oral pain med can be compounded into a transdermal gel that can be applied to the inner ear flap. Or you can just use Pill Pockets, which I have found to make administering oral meds quite easy in most cases. From what I learned when researching Somer's mammary cancer, though, the surgical center will typically keep the cat hospitalized for a while after mastectomy surgery specifically for the purpose of providing adequate pain relief. People often ask me how I know where to put roses, how to prune them, etc. I say, I don't! I just do what seems right and take it from there. Can I ask where you live, what zone? That could make a difference. As far as the septic smell, I think it could be that, if that is where your septic line is, or it could be anaerobic soil. I get that sometimes when I have an area of heavy clay with poor drainage. There is just not enough oxygen in the soil to allow the microbes to do their thing and they rot. So once you determine that it's not your septic, you can amend the soil to get it healthier. Roots can be a problem. I have cut more roots out than anything. Last year I was doing some planting in front of some established roses and I found a root from a cherry tree about 20 feet away! I was wondering why the roses there did not seem to be doing that well. I cut it back as far as I could. Good luck with your garden, it is fun to be out there and no matter where you put the roses, I promise when you get those first buds, you will be hooked.

I just designed a kitchen with a certified Kitchen designer and learned that most stock cabinets are sized in 3" steps. So you can get them in 6", 9", 12" etc. So for instance you cannot go from a 9" cabinet to a 10" cabinet, the next size bigger would be 12". By the way there was no charge for the services of the kitchen designer from Lowe's that I used and she gave me a ton of good advise.

I can't believe with some of the problems you've described they've not tested you for it.

oh and side note..sometimes a celiac diet helps Autistic kids too.

My DIL has celiacs and since she changed her diet she has seen a huge difference. Most doctors do not recognize the symptoms. She had to request that the doctor test her for it. The only reason she asked for the test is because her mom has it.

Wendy, I am just getting 'back on track' with my friends at the KT.
I hope you are feeling better and can sort this out soon. You are in my thoughts.

wendy, do get one of the little pill containers...it really helps. i fill mine on sundays. it really helps now since the dr cut back to every other day one of the meds...

sure hope they figure out what's going on!
