I want to show you a couple mock ups I did for Sweeby because while they're not the same space, the baths might be able to have some similarities....she had a slooped ceiling to play with so I put cabinetry into it. You have a higher slope it appears, so we could do more, but let's start with a few ideas and then I have homework for you... If you can tuck a tub into an alcove...you could tuck a toilet into one as well. So I'd like to play with that, but I really can't without specific dimensions. Can you give total dimensions and an idea what the slope is (draw a line where it begins to go down, and then give a beginning and final height). I too have issues with the long room (my closet in the master is about 10' by 15' long and it's pretty narrow for a real master suite....but if we could play with the whole space we could incorporate some ideas...say something like that back wall in sweeby's bathroom storage (window seat etc) into your master and closet...and have a spacious and fabulous room to play with. So how about giving total dimensions, slope, etc., and show me any window placement to deal with as well.

I love the pic of the piece you found...I might try to make that work, even if the sink was low. It's not like you would be working at it. Or maybe you could build up the top and cover with granite to make it taller (if you hung the upper piece on the wall). I might keep looking for an armoire to convert (oops, I see the original one is no longer listed). Here is one I found, but it's probably larger than 42". How wide would the refer be? You might run into problems with the sink plumbing and the refer below, unless the refer was pretty narrow and the sink very tiny.

I'm trying to find a master bedroom/suite color which fits the whole house 'palette,' (I've got an 'autumn' color-set, neutral or a small step toward mid-range), and coordinates with lt yellow bath tile (and its black stripe). My other bedrms/2nd floor, are soft fern, and moonglow, so I wanted a color that balanced/worked with them, for slow/complementarity. Houses in my neighborhood have sold in today's popular decorating colors (eg, 'pumpkin' kitchens, or Pottery Barn colors) , a swell as neutrals, which from what I know from buyers, they look forward to changing (as I did when I moved here.. the ugliest antique white I've ever seen). I'm trying to come up with paint color for the master/suite. I've tried a taupe - great color - but coor w/the bathrm yellow doesn't seem to work well. So, I see my choices as being a tan or blue w/some grey in it. I have looked at Quiet Moments :), love it, as I do Harveser (SW), an will look up Monroe Bisque. The In the end, from what you say.. something good and clean and well-decorated (basically, color-wise, whatever that may be, as an individual case) - is the best I can do. So many of those tan/beige colors just aren't a color I'd want to sleep in.. and there's the question, etc, of which tans/beiges look/feel good to the majority. You have pretty pieces, I just think they need a bit of adjusting. Since you are dividing the space with the sofa table, I would put the sofa against the table (facing the TV). The you can move the pair of chairs in front of the window with a small table between. This will open up that space from the hallway and the view out the windows/lower windows especially. I would also remove the round table w/tablecloth. The single (wooden) chair in that area now can move to the hallway side near the FP. I also don't think you need to small, dark table against the column - every bit of wall space doesn't need something on it and this will make it less cluttered as well. You can use this at the end of white sofa instead. Try using it turned sideways. I really like the colorful sofa, but think the arc lamp should be turned so it's in that space - it is "reaching out" trying to get invited to the other space, and looks wrong in the photos. Eventually replace the covered round table in this space also, but don't have all round tables within the spaces (which you do now). Add some color with art that speaks to you (don't buy just to fill in). I would replace the mirror with art as well. Is your ceiling light on dimmers? If not, that's an easy thing to have done and makes a big difference. I look forward to seeing what you decide to do!
