Mouser Cabinets
Comments (6)Prices: If I had gotten Mouser's frameless line, the price would have been similar to or less than Kraftmaid's full-overlay framed cabinets from Lowe's/HD (all plywood construction and painted cabinets for both. Kraftmaid has a much higher upcharge for painted cabinets). Mouser inset cabinets were the same price as Medallian/Schuler full-overlay framed cabinets (again, both all plywood and painted). Woodmode was much more expensive....See MoreCentra by Mouser, anyone??
Comments (3)Looking at their site it appears they are plywood box overlay with limited choice. It you find what you want within their options at a good low price they should be reasonable quality. And you avoid the learning curve of finding out what else is available....See MoreCabinet finish & quality: Mouser Centra vs Dura Supreme
Comments (4)Either in the top spec line is a fine choice. It does you a disservice to be comparing only on price though, when you are not comparing apples to apples components, and are in fact comparing the lesser spec'd secondary line of Mouser with the much better standard line of Dura. My vote would go to Dura, simply based on the long time family ownership group still being active and not swallowed up by corporate holding companies. And the fact that they simply don't do a dumbed down lesser spec'd line with a much lesser warranty like Mouser's Centra. With Durasupreme, what you see is what you get, with no flimflam of different specs for different levels to mislead you....See MoreMouser Centra vs. Brookhaven cabinets
Comments (3)if you are getting European style cabs I'd get Brookhaven and a lot depends on the install . I would suspect that Mouser is newer to frameless. I think Brookhaven has had this in their offering for a time now. European cabinets are much, much newer for the Us market and they are not the easiest cabinet to get "right". It will be a great cabinet for you...these are both good brands. I would just lean toward the line that has been doing them....make sure of your install team and process for call backs or adjusting things. You need perfection[almost] in making and installing wonderful frameless kitchens...and with your two options being considered you are going high end. But do check the portfolio and so forth of Mouser rolling out their frameless.....information is priceless in kitchen planning....See Morekompy
