I'm looking on the web site, but can't find this....do you know the name of the set? Is it induction compatible like all-clad?

If you look on QVC.com, the Homepage should come up with a big picture of the set on the right hand side. It's called Pro Clad Tri Ply 10 piece set in the Technique line. I can't say for sure whether it's induction compatible, but it is described as being the same material construction as All Clad. Their real-time customer service site should be able to answer that question.

I was hopeful about using All-clad stainless steel so I tried a pan and could not believe it when the inside somehow got gouged. Tiny gouges, but definitely there. Since all my other cookware is non-stick, I've used nothing but silicon spatulas and coated utensils for years, so I can't figure out how this happened. Glad I sprang for only one pan instead of a whole set!

I like the Circulon frypans a lot although you can't make caramel in them (for some reason, it just doesn't work although it works in the regular flat-surface non-stick. Go figure!). I will look into that sale when it happens as I need to replace a couple of pans that are getting to the end of their lives.

Have you seen the ads for the Infinite Circulon line just coming out? Supposedly the first hard-anodized nonstick cookware that is guaranteed for the dishwasher!

If anyone is looking for a nonstick skillet/fry pan, may I recommend Scanpan (no affiliation btw!)? We'd been using DH's very old non-stick skillets on those occasions when a NS pan was warranted (mostly if DH was making himself some scrambled eggs on a weekend morning). Not only were the pans old, but the non stick surface was degrading (nicked or chipped in spots, that sort of thing), and I really didn't know if they were even safe to use any more.

I did some research here on GW (checked out Scanpan, All Clad NS, Swiss Diamond, Le Creuset SS NS, etc.) and spoke with some of the guys at a nearby cooking store (one of whom is a good friend of ours and has and loves his Scanpan--his family uses theirs every day). I liked what I'd read and heard about Scanpan's performance (also, they are DW safe, you can use metal utensils in them, they are oven safe, and you can brown/sear in them, too).

I've only used it once since I got it a couple weeks ago, just to try it out (nothing sticky so I can't speak for it's NS qualities!) and it was spotless just from a rinse, before I even touched it with the sponge. DH used it to make himself some eggs recently and said "I like the new pan." I guess that's good enough for me!

I just checked QVC RE the TSV Tri-Clad cookware set, and NO, the pans ARE NOT for use with induction cooking. I had heard that they were, and was going to blindly purchase them this morning. Thanks for the question because it really made me think before buying. Sorry everyone!!

they are great five ply stainless at about half the price of all clad. I highly recommend them

Wow, and I purchased an A-C set and a couple A-C open stock pieces a couple weeks after I got the Scanpan NS frypan/skillet. Had I known that Scanpan made a 5 ply stainless steel line of pots and pans, I would have checked it out (I don't recall seeing it at the store where I purchased the other stuff, and I'm sure the salesperson would have pointed it out to me--he had me look at all the brands they carry and had me feel the different handles on the different brands to decide which one I liked best--the Scanpan 5 ply SS handles look comfortable). Not that I think I won't be happy with the All-Clad (I am excited about owning it and am looking forward to using it!), but it would have been cool to see the other and compare the two.

BTW--Scanpan's headquarters is located minutes from me!
