Is Silestone too cold for MN winters?

I have almost concluded the Silestone/Corian debate for my new kitchen counters. However, I keep hearing about the "cold" factor of Silestone, and wonder how that will go in a Minnesota kitchen which does get colder than the average kitchen. Does anyone have experience with Silestone during a Minnesota winter, and especially in a room not known for being toasty warm?
