Side splash or not? Opinions please...
Comments (6)If you haven't already, check out houzz.com for some inspiration pictures. Here are just a few ideas... You can put the outlets in the backsplash as they've done in a couple of the photos above. There is no wrong way to do it... it's whatever looks best to you. It's the details that drive you crazy, isn't it?...See More2 leg kitchen bridge faucet help
Comments (6)If you can use Windsor Bronze finish, there is a new Franke Manor House on ebay for $699 OBO. I bought mine as a discontinued show room model, from a different seller, so I paid much less than the one in the link--I think mine is a less expensive model anyway. Bronze wouldn't have been my first choice, but for the quality and price, I couldn't pass it up for my budget remodel. I love the faucet, and I've come to appreciate the finish. If you're looking for a filter faucet, too, I don't know if you could match the bronze finish exactly, so that is something else to consider. My filter faucet (also an ebay bargain) is a slightly different color, but no one IRL has noticed the difference. Comments (17)Not sure what the minimum space for a wall-mount would be, but we have about 5" between counter and window moulding and that's more than enough; you could probably get away with a bit less. Also, if it helps, if those are Chicago Faucets in the photos, the neck is the 9 1/2" swing spout. In our kitchen it looks like it will hit right about the center of our sink. (We've had the faucet up but not the sink yet, but measured it out...so we'll see!) Our old faucet was a similar style spout and we really liked it---tall enough to swing out of the way of large dishes but not gooseneck. You can add a side spray; Chicago makes them for the wall-mounts and I imagine the same or similar spray works for the deck mounts too, but you'd have to look at how it attaches. Because their site is a mess, you have to search for the option to find it, and then just make sure it uses the same connections your faucet has. On the wall-mount it isn't quite as neat as with a traditional faucet---hose has to wrap around and hang somewhere---but you might avoid that problem with the deck-mount since you can run the connection underneath....See MoreOpinions please-bridge or partials
Comments (9)I don't know about lower teeth or molars. I have a permanent *upper* bridge at the front right corner of my mouth. The appliance is three 'teeth', anchored on one front tooth and the tooth behind the missing tooth. It's been satisfactory for two years. A friend (then late 70's) required bone grafts before implants could be placed. The whole process took more than a year. Three years later he needed chemo/radiation for cancer. He recovered his health, but the grafts/implants failed. I remember that my grandmother's dentures had to be replaced a couple of times as she aged and her jaw shrank. I can tell that my own jaw is shrinking -- by looking, and because I'm biting the inside of my mouth more often. This could become quite an ongoing expense -- and not covered by any meaningful insurance....See Moreamykath
