What will grilling on a George Foreman grill do to your ceiling?

We just started using a new G5 George Foreman grill. Our kitchen is newly remodeled and painted. I see steam rising from the grill and also see smoke sometimes while it's heating. I am concerned that some oily vapor might be landing on our walls, windows, and ceilings. The manufacturer says this is not a problem because the grease drains off. I'm skeptical. I was wondering if some long-time George Foreman grillers might be able to speak from their experience. Also, if indoor grilling does cause grease to deposit on walls/windows/ceilings, has anyone found a solution?
