Mixing granite and silestone or caesarstone

Help! I just picked out my cabinets (Fieldstone, shaker style)and found a lovely piece of granite that goes well with the cherry cabinet/butterscotch stain and the cherry/java stain (dark)cabinets on the island. The granite is an older lot of Juperana Bordeaux but the store only has one piece left; the newer lots are very different and don't match very well. Since this piece of granite is very interesting and has lots of movement, I was thinking that I would use it on the cherry/java island in the center of the kitchen and use a plain, more homogeneous granite or silestone or caesar stone on the countertops with the cherry/butterscotch cabinets. Will this be too much mix and match? This is the first kitchen project I've ever done and I'm worried about makiing a big mistake. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!
