anyone know pull that looks like this one?

Hi - well, I'd like some 4" drop pulls to replace some old ones I have. Since they're replacements, the holes are drilled and can't be changed. I found some I LOVE:

Unfortunately they're $66 each! Does anyone know any that are similar to these and cost less money? I really like the part that drops down. I like the round parts too, but could go for another pattern as long as it doesn't become much more ornate. I searched lots of sites for 4" drop pulls but didn't see anything similar. I was hoping one of you awesome people might have seen something like it in my price range, which is way less than $66 per pull. :)

Those are beautiful, but sooo many $$. Just do a google search for 4'' bail pull and you should be able to find something you can settle for!

unfortunately I've searched for 4" bail pulls and 4" drop pulls for HOURS and can't find anything even close. I was hoping somewhere here might have seen something similar.

I had a similar quandry recently, I was sprouting Golden Berry aka Cape Gooseberry (I guess, I don't know, it's new to me) which I've read are related to ground cherry, maybe even the same thing, can't remember. Even though I used what I thought was a sterile medium, I had two different things sprout. I let them both grow until I could for sure identify the one as the weed, and assumed the other was the Cape Gooseberry. It doesn't look anything like a tomato, and if I remember correctly from my youth, ground cherry leaves don't look like tomato leaves either, but I'm not sure. Not sure if that's helpful at all. Agree with MTN. I've seen a full sized sample of this tile in the store, and it looked the same as the online picture (but sparkly), but they're often more careful to get the full range of colors in the sample than the correct distribution. I ordered my glass mosaic based on the samples and ended up with all the same colors but many more mediums than lights and darks. Since I was using them individually, I also handled every tile sheet by sheet as I was separating them. Just from box to box the distribution on the sheets was different, so I think, for mine, at least, each batch is a bit different, and it's probably a pretty random process which tile lands where.

I agree, either no shutters of stained cedar to match your posts. I would do sparse foundation planting with lots of native plants out in to the yard. I love your house it almost has a Gothic on the prairie vibe.

Those are beautiful, and I know how hard it is to settle for less when find something you really love. Have you tried ebay? I doubt you'll find those, but you may find something really unique or old that might make you happy.

Have you checked Van Dyke's Restorers? I didn't go through all their bail pulls to check length, but some look similar in design.

Let me just say it is so cool that two of you posted options that are $7 each instead of $66. Way to go team. Ctaylor6 what finish do you need? That VanDyke Restorers site is VERY cool and the simpler ones definitely have the same read as your inspiration. Good luck!

This one http://www.vandykes.com/ribbon-reed-drop-handle/p/202803/ from the site that Joyce_6333 posted looks similar to your first choice. It's only $15.xx compared to the $66.xx.

You all are so awesome. I did like those pulls you linked, but drats - no 4" sizes.

I'm trying to update my dining room furniture. I'm not really tied to any finish yet. The ones on now are fine just way more ornate than I like. I really liked the more simple lines of the ones I posted but I need 18 pulls and for that much money I'd rather buy new furniture! :)

paintedlady - I laughed when I read your post. On sale, indeed.

And nothing's too INexpensive, by the way.

If you go for a larger pull, can you fill the existing holes and have them hidden by the new pull?

I really, really don't want to do that. It's stained, not painted. I think it'd grow into much bigger a project than I wanted to do, which was just replace the pulls.

Lee Valley has a large selection of inexpensive bail pulls (I think that's the search term you need), but you have to have your metric conversions ready to go. :)

I'm not "pushing" the pull in the link I posted, but you mentioned the links suggested all had the wrong sizes. Did you look closer at the dimensions that said: 2.0472" H x 3.779-4.567" W x 0.787" D? Does that mean it might fit your 4-inch space? I do like some of the ones on the VanDyke Restorers link, too, if they were the right size for you.
