Refrigerator for a rental

I am taking an informal pole.

Our tenants let us know that the refrigerator is dying. It is about 20 years old, not worth repairing, so it is ready for the graveyard. Currently, there is a white SxS frig.

I replaced the DW with a SS Bosch Integrated one about 1 year ago. (quite high end for a rental) The DW is on the same wall. Therefore, I will get a SS frig to match the DW.

My question is...

Is FD preferable than a SxS to an average renter? I personally don't care for a FD. I like single door with bottom pull out. But I need to get something with the biggest mass apeal, not what I like. I will never live in this house.

Second question is..

What about an ice maker in the frig? Is this expected at this price range.

This is a rental, midgrade rental house in a suburban neighborhood with very good schools. We are charging $1850 now. We can probably charge $2000 easily. The house is not updated.

To buy an equivalent house would cost about 400K (+/-20%). If the house was completely updated with a brand new kitchen and baths, it would probably rent for $2400 to $2600.
