Bathroom sink faucet height: low-, mid-, or high arc?
Comments (10)depends on how you use it. To get a drink? To wash your hair (head dunk), or to brush your teeth and wash your face. I love the look of the high arc faucet. Good in a kitchen for filling big pots if you don't have a pull out. We had one in a hotel bathroom...I bent over to wash my face and my forehead clanked into the top of the faucet. When I dunked my head in the bowl to wash my hair I clanged into the faucet on the back of my head on the way up. I like the regular (mid???) ones, as I can do whatever I like to do and not get headaches! So it all depends on how it will be used. -Babka...See Morehigh arc faucet option
Comments (4)You'll have to replace your countertops to a solid surface like granite if you want a single hole faucet install. Or you can just cover the other 3 holes with cover plates if you keep a topmount sink. Undermounting a sink and using a single hole faucet greatly simplifies the "busyness" of the installation and looks much better than having the "soldier lineup" of a 4 hole faucet and topmount sink....See MoreNeed quick reply - disposer pipe too high for new deep sink
Comments (6)All I can say is that if your plumber couldn't see the simple solution you need to run him or her off and get a real plumber. 1.Remove the flanged cross tube from the disposal. 2.Install the flanged 1/4bend that comes pre-packed with the disposal. 3.Get a 6" extension tailpiece and connect it to the 1/4 bend extending the drain downward. (During the next step the extension will need to be cut to fit.) 4.Install a standard End waste kit....See MorePull-down (hi arc) or pull-out faucet for 23' undermount sink?
Comments (7)They both look and sound like nice faucets. It depends on if you want or like the really tall ones. I don't care for the tall ones - but I'm short and that might be why. the reach part makes a difference where the water falls into the sink. I stood in front of my sink and put my hands out as if to wash them or clean veggies. This showed me about where I needed the spout hght to me. A low one would put it about where my hands would be, so I want it to be a bit higher - like 8-9" up from counter level. I also don't want the reach part to close to the back side of the sink either - that would cause me to have to reach to far in to put my hands under the water. try something like that with your sink and see where it's comfortable to you....See Moresusan4664
