What panel ready side by side actually covers the entire front?
Comments (2)I don't have an answer to your specific question but CD fridges are not really CD - the door protrudes beyond the counter so it really won't look like a cabinet style built-in....See MoreASAP help needed! Panel ready frig-how to cover side trim?
Comments (19)Thanks all, Circuspeanut- the veneer was just was I was hoping to do. Any ideas how to attach it or make it stick to the trim piece?? Again, my thanks for helping to resolve this. We've now determined that at this point we do need to keep the fridge. Among other things we were having issues with other fridges potentially hitting the handle of the adjacent oven & this one restricts the swing just sufficiently so that should not be an issue. I don't want to trade one problem for another. SO, finding the best solution to covering the black trim is what we've got to do at this point. Thanks again!...See MorePanel ready/cabinet depth refrigerator problems
Comments (2)You can create a built-in look for a cabinet-depth refrigerator. That's what we did. Notice the walls are not visible. Also, keep in mind that a cabinet depth refrigerator is actually around 30" deep when you count the doors & handles. The only thing that's counter-depth is the refrigerator carcass/box. The doors must stick out past the surrounding walls, cabinets, counters, etc., to be able to open them fully. Only true built-ins or the high-end counter depth (like Liebherr) can be flush, all others cannot be (unless there's something new in the past few weeks or so). You could try asking on the Appliances Forum about CD refrigerators that are true CD and are inexpensive. Another option is to recess the refrigerator into the wall behind it - but you still have to be sure the doors stick out beyond the surrounding items. Comments (1)Can you post what you're using on the cabinets please? One of the advantages of longer handles is that they are comfortable for different height people and kids....See MoreFori
