We have resorted to name calling, LOL

Well I have always said disagreements are normal during a kitchen remodel! Today my husband said this to me (all serious like and after a few names) Now %#$%&$ I am the man and I have the final say in this houseÂI busted out laughing, I didnÂt mean too itÂs just that we have never did the mans work womanÂs work thing, we just get on and do what needs doing. Luckily my husband is secure in his manhood because he even found himself amusing after we reflected. To those in the process of kitchen remodelingÂthis is all temporary. Remember why you fell in love with the other in the first place, laugh and move on. Never go to bed madÂEver! With all thatÂs going on in the economy having a new kitchen, even if itÂs a DIY (me) it is something to be very grateful for.

I always smile inwardly with the whole "do not go to bed angry" thing. In our case, some issues need time and some space before resolving. We have tried the not going to bed angry thing and all that happened is a bigger loss of sleep and things being said while exhausted that were not helpful.

Sometimes, you need to table the discussion and try again another day. You may be ticked off when you are at the end of the day, but some things and some people need time before resolving. There is no one size fits all answer. It could work for many others, but not in our house.

ohhh yes!! we ate the fruit!!! LOL then we took it out of that shell, baried it half way down the soil, and let it grow!! i have 2 that are growing good and 1 that lost all of its leaves!! errrr!! we bought a case of them at sams club and ya know the rest!! LOL :'>> if we eat it we plant it just to see if it will grow!! to experiment!! the kids "and me> get a big kick out of it!! LOL man i'm such a kid!! now that i'm a mom no one can tell me "no, you have to throw that away!!! " LOL its so cool!!!! LOL YAY my inner kid is unleashed HA HA HA HA ~Medo except the hubs who is sleeping most of the time, then i tell him its for homeschooling, so we have to make it look really good!! Red love your story about Shadow, he must have super powers. We had a cat named Shadow and we moved him from the farm to the city when he was 12. We had a small door cut in the garage so he could get shelter. One morning DH came in excited...I knew my cat was a great hunter, you'll never guess what he caught...a pheasant. We tried to figure out where he would catch a pheasant, it must be at the nearby golf course. A couple nights later he brings home another one. My hubby was just so proud. A few week later Shadow surprised us with a deer leg! Well, I said....so much for your hunter...he is no more that a neighborhood thief...he's stealing someone's game and I sure hope they don't find out where he lives! He was a great cat and lived to 17 years. Jean

"The best way to find out what it is is to look at photos and compare them with the actual plant you have". Actually Dilly_Dally I DID do a search for pictures! That's why I posted and said "I'm leaning toward it being the Mistletoe Cactus. I did a search for pictures of it after Liz mentioned it". Thanks everyone else! I'm still thinking it's a Mistletoe Cactus. I've never even heard of them. Walmart only had 2. Soxxxx..it probably would have jumped in my buggy, but I had to do some rearranging to make a place for her to sit! lol I also asked and posted the pictures over on the Cacti & Succulents Forum. If my DH said that, I'm sure I would have burst out laughing also. I had a similar experience the other day with my 4 1/2 y.o. He was mouthing off to me as is his current habit (we're trying to break him of it) so I told him that he needed to go cool down in his room until he could speak nicely to me. He said in his best huffy voice, "fine, but if I go to my room I'm never coming out ever ever ever again." I didn't mean to laugh out loud, but it came out before I could stop myself!
