What do you think of 2x4 back splash tile?
Comments (15)The red diamonds in my backsplash are glass and I really like the effect. The other tiles are a bit off-white, and I think they match the cabs, I've never noticed. lol I have orb for some of the hardwared, and ruby colored pulls and knobs on the hutch which is in the kitchen. I also have an orb faucet whith white sink. White appliances. The appliances are whiter than the cabs, but its not noticeable. As far as the granite. That's a hard one to answer. Take every single thing off the countertop and I love my granite. But that color of granite is so hard to accesorize with it's driving me crazy! However, I recently discovered pale yellow, white, and light vintage green looks wonderful on the granite. My walls are a very pale yellow. Black accessories are good too, but I want more pastels in my kitchen. It only took me three years to figure out that pastels really look best with the granite and white cabs!...See MoreCreamy subway tile backsplash? Pics please?
Comments (20)secondhalf, my kitchen is small and G-shaped, so it's difficult to get a very panoramic shot. My cabinets are BM Cloud White and subways are Sonoma creamy crackle. Side by side the tiles are darker, but in reality they conspire to look the same. I had wanted a darker, more gold/yellow tile for a bit of contrast, but the GW posters talked me out of it. I still wonder if a different tile would have been better, but if you're after calm and non-diva, this color combination is for you. Crackle is more subtle in large amounts. In fact, I have to get pretty close to even see the crackles, however, I think it gives the tile a little more life to it....See MorePics of backsplash with soapstone counters...NOT white subways
Comments (6)My husband had the same response -- that's why I used bigger subs (4x8) and trimmed with glass mosaics. Below is a link to a previous thread -- I have pictures posted there. Also, if you click on "my page" next to my name, and then "my clippings" and scroll all the way down, you will see some more examples of BS with SS. Make sure you look at the LAST picture. I love that marble BS with the SS! Here is a link that might be useful: thread with more pictures...See More2 x 4 or 3 x 6 Subway Tile For Kitchen Backsplash
Comments (4)Your link did not capture a single picture, but if you meant this one, it is 3x6. These are 2x4. When you are wanting info on a picture, if you look to the upper right of it, under the title of the pic, "ususally" (but not every time) it will say Questions with a little tab next to it. Click on that and scroll down the page just a bit and you will see where other people asked questions about the pic and the answers. Often the tile is brought up in question on what size, color, where to buy, etc. This can be really helpful when searching for particulars. HTH :) p.s. I agree, you can use any size you want!...See MoreUser
