Which Photo-Sharing Website is Best?

I have been using Webshots to share my photos with friends and family. I think a photo-sharing website is much easier than emailing tons of photos as attachments to my emails. However, I have found Webshots to be cumbersome to use, and slow. Some of my friends say it crashes for them when they are on it after I invite them to see my photos there.

I have also tried Photobucket, and find that my photos mysteriously shrink or enlarge on there without me doing anything. Conversely, when I try to make a photo smaller on Photobucket, it doesn't work. Frustrating.

So, which Photo-Sharing website do you like, and why? Thanks.

I use Flickr. It's very user-friendly.

I'll second that for Flickr. Very easy to use.
I love how it will give you the HTML code to insert the pic here in many different sizes like below.

There are also separate programs that will do mass uploads/downloads to your Flickr account.

Charlies Soap - Best Price? Website? Coupons?

I had over 1/2 a bucket of Charlie's Soap when they announced an end to free shipping, so I bought another bucket then and there and put it in storage. I probably have enough Charlie's for 5-6-years now. Give them a call or send them an e-mail and ask if they have any bargains/specials, or if they will honor an old coupon? The people at Charlie's Soap are wonderful, so it wouldn't surprise me if they honor the old coupon to keep a customer. I purchased Oxy-Boost to use on our wood deck. We had some left so I used it in the laundry with Charlie's Soap. I noticed everything line-dried was STIFF when I added Oxy-Boost, which is what happens when I have used other oxygen cleaners. -Grainlady

Thanks for the recommendations for Flickr. Barbcollins, those photos are precious!

i use google's picasa. same as the flickr site...you get a link and can choose the size.

I like Flickr, except that if you want people to be able to download the high resolution versions of your photos, you need to buy a Pro account. Picasa lets you do this for free for the first xx gigabytes of content (can't remember how much exactly) so we went with that for a recent album of 500+ images. If you just want people to be able to look at photos online, though, and don't care (or don't want) the high res download ability, Flickr is my favorite.

I use Photobucket and have never had the problems you describe...have you checked your settings?
