Grohe Ashford Pull-Down-I know looks shouldn't matter BUT
Comments (23)thanks nerdy shopper for the info! everytime i want into a plumbing supply store all the plumbers i talk to there say "you have to get a grohe!". they also like kohler too, but seems like most slightly prefer the grohe...i suppose b/c of the warranty? i liked the looks of the bridgeford the most, and after researching on the web last night, it seemed like those with small kitchens (like I have) LOVED the bridgeford. I went to a plumbing store today and tested out the bridgeford, as well as my original choice--ashford--along with the kohler, & just liked the feel of it much, much better than all the others! i know it doesn't have the locking spray. Dh & i realized the most we use the sprayer is a very quick spray to clean the sink, and for rinsing veggies/fruit. What sold me is how comfortable the spray button is! I found it more so than the ashford i was considering. I also got a coupon for 12% off from an on-line vendor so my total cost was $428 for the brushed nickel. A bargain! thanks again everyone, so happy i have one less decision! missmuffett- i decided on satin nickel, mainly b/c my ss sink is brushed ss and although i love the shiny chrome look i don't want to worry about fingerprints all the time!!...See MoreMagnet needed for pull down kitchen faucet?
Comments (7)I've had this Delta for 10 years or so and it uses the weight. Properly set and adjusted it works the same as the day it was new. Had a minor problem and Delta was kinda of a PITA to deal with cause the CSR had poor product knowledge so hard to explain what I needed and she wouldn't escalate to a supervisor but I've read that lots of people are real happy with Delta customer service. For products that are meant to last a long time I'm disappointed that some commonly needed Delta parts are NLA for other Delta fixtures I have that aren't really all that old but I guess that is the way it is today... just buy a complete new one for $75 when a $2 gasket would resolve the problem. Comments (1)IMHO, buying a Delta faucet is like buying jewelry at Walmart and buying a Grohe is like buying it at Tiffany's. You get what you pay for. You'll have that Grohe for 20+ years. No Delta is made to last that long....See MoreKohler Bellara Pull Down Faucet or Delata Leland Pull Down Faucet
Comments (3)i have the delta trinsic with no problems at all. i love the faucet but what really sold me on delta is the customer service. i have a 15 year old house with builder grade delta shower faucet hardware. i called delta because one shower handle was cloudy and they sent me a new one immediately. i also called to get a new spout with the same wonderful cs and part sent for free. i am a delta fan!...See Moresophie123
