Has anyone used Smart Tile?

I came across the peel and stick Smart Tile online and it looked great- almost too good to be true. It said it was sold at Home Depot, but when we went there the sales people said that it was only avaiable online. It's hard to commit to a project like this without seeing a sample of the product first.

If anyone has used it or seen it I would love to hear your feedback about it. Currently, I have an old laminate counter top and backsplash. We recently had our kitchen cabinets painted- which came out beautifully- and have also updated our range and hood. At this point I would just like to use the Smart Tile cover our old laminate backsplash.

The home depot in my area (TN) stocks the product so you might try HD's in other towns near you. I notched it while shopping for some tile supplies. It is a clear paper-thin adhesive sheet that was quite expensive. My dh thinks it great...me, not so much, I just don't have much confidence In it holding-up for years and years. I'm not willing to spend the big money on tile and grout without a tried and true backing.

There you go-- use a PICTURE of tile for your backsplash!

NR2G: I have used something similar with citrus oils and various herbs in it and in burned many of my seedlings even though I used it late in the day. I don't know where you are having problems with ants and mosquitoes, but whether it's inside or out, neither insect will hurt your plants. Different pesticides work for them. Ant traps containing boric acid are safe and don't come in contact with people, pets or plants. Mosquitoes are best dealt with by using mosquito dunks (BT) to kill their larvae where they are breeding. Be careful to choose pesticides that really target the insect that is actually causing damage to your plants.

We need to replace our kitchen floor and we liked the look of Sono Eclipse luxury vinyl tile 25" x 12" in dark grey. Seems a lot of people had major issues with Sono LVP from 2 years ago. Someone in the discussion said it was a nightmare. Anyone has updates or comments on how the new Sono Eclipse is performing? Would love to hear from anyone who installed the vinyl tile (not plank).
