Need DR chandelier for off center outlet

I hope I can make myself clear. I'm even confused with how I'm trying to word this.

We recently built a home and when the electrician did our dining light he placed it about 8" off center. Since we have an stained alder ceiling we can't move it over and then patch it. We have windows on two sides and a counter on the third so I cannot just move the table. We have a round table and want a ORB or rusty type chandelier that will look old style... maybe like an onion lamp (nothing victorian). Does anyone have an idea on a chandelier that we can hang from the outlet then loop it over to center? Pictures would help a lot. Or, do you think it will look Mickey Mouse to do that and would be better to just hang it off center?

Sorry that the pictures are on the dark side....
