Sconce that plugs into outlet?
Comments (1)You might check Etsy. We found some *very* cool wall lights that are backed by large vintage snowshoes, plug into an outlet (not hardwired). Maybe not your style, and perhaps a bit large to be nightlights, but there are interesting options on Etsy....See MorePlease show me your bedside sconces
Comments (18)Beverly thank you so much for the lovely examples. I actually replaced my beloved mirror with two matching mirrors. The idea of tucking the sconces inside the posts was a grand one. Thank you for that. As much as I liked the sconces I felt that there wasn't enough room for them so I went with regular table lamps. RRS & Mtn, thank you for posting your sconces. I still love the idea of them even though I didn't feel they worked for me size wise. I love the pulley idea as it greatly enhances the adjustability factor. Then plugged in the mixer to beat the eggs/sugar. Did I say I love it! I actually wish that I had skipped all additional plugs on the wall but gives me options... PS One of my friends put in beautiful Motawi tile and the plugs go right through the accent pieces - you are not over thinking this.......See Moreplug in wall sconces

Turn off the power to the outlet Remove the outlet cover plate Unscrew the outlet from the junction box and disconnect the wires to the outlet. Follow these sample instructions* to attach a mounting plate to the junction box and the fixture to the mounting plate. Turn on the power. *Instructions are for this sconce...See MoreKevinMP
