I'm looking at the Kitchens forum page and notice that there are two 'orphan threads' that just happened to show up, sandwiched between two current threads. Notice the last post dates and times on the second and third threads:

I would guess they are doing "live" code testing. Possibly by accident - like they forgot to change a config file somewhere so its a blend of their test data and some close to real data.

Hmmm...winter makes me buy plants. To many catalog's and faulty memory for all the work I swore I would curtail next year. Long drawn out mucky/icky springs inspire me also to chase the winter blues away, garden therapy you know. Watching the sizzling summer heat weather reports seems to make me forget all about my cool maritime climate especially when I dream of gardens past...buzzing bees drunken swaying in the hollyhocks, the whine of mosquito s and the scent of bug spray. Autum rolls around, hints of yellowing leaves, shorter days makes me think of purchasing "just a few more bulbs" before winter settles in again. Then there are the memory plants, the ones I grow or purchase because they remind me of people I love or those that have passed...and pass along plants-must not forget those! Old fashioned flowers, the kinds that children delight in picking a big bunch of for their mama's before they head out for home, plants that smell good or have some outstanding feature that carry them beyond the blooming season. I grow plants that self-seed, the ones that knit the garden togather like a quiet friend you always know will help you through the rough patches though you may not see them often. The reasons are as varied and many as the hours I have spent in my gardens.

I believe that I now have all of my usual catalogs. Richter's Herb & Vegetable and Kitazawa were in my mailbox, yesterday. Kitazawa is usually the last to arrive and, it seems, I have always been able to count on it showing up in February. They must have caught on to this trend of earlier is better. So, "Hot Peppers! Herb of the Year for 2016." Richter's does have a few new ones. What they do have are herbs, herbs, herbs! I'm okay with thinking of hot peppers as herbs. I wonder why they have Bird's Eye Thai listed in two places ... Kitazawa has peppers but, ... no new ones ... maybe their Japanese chards and I could try their leaf radish ... I hope I still have that Russian white radish. It has the root and the non-hairy leaves. Gotta figure out what I have. In·ven·to·ry first! DW helps. I put an old sheet down on the living room carpet, bring boxes of seed in. We both go thru things ... she holds up what she's got and waves it at me while I scratch out a first draft on a note pad. "How much?" "It's okay." "Date?" "2005." "Oops!" First seed order has to include onions to start in the unheated greenhouse, soon! Funny how those seeds have such short viability but are in the mix before anything else ... oh, I could plant some anise hyssop and pansies ... and, why not?! hmmmm ... what else? how does your plant differ from a m. hahniana superba? When "googled" the m. glassii does not resemble the one in your picture yet the m. hahniana superba seems almost identical. Asking because i do not have the m. glassii but, would like to have one with the spination from your picture.

If you notice, though, like on the 36+12 cabinet one, someone today asked me a question, which will bring the thread back to the front page.

I didn't check the others, but I always thought that was the reason.

BKW, lol, that's where I am most of the time.

My firefox updated as soon as I turned on the computer this afternoon--I didn't think that had anything to do with it, but I'm not well-versed on how everything works.

CEF, what caught my eye was that there were no new post dates/times on those two threads (or the others that I've seen since then).

Thanks all, for reassuring me that I'm not seeing things!

I was going to ask about this the other day. But when I went back on it had been resolved. It looked like a whole month of posts were gone. Then Aug. came back. Assumed the techs were doing something and decided not to dig into this.

So, yes, we are all seeing something odd. Am sure they received a bunch of emails about all.
