Do these light fixtures match each other and my kitchen?

I am in love with this chandelier, and I'm trying to find a place for it in my new house. I'm waffling between over my kitchen table or in my front entry.

My kitchen will have white shaker cabinets, polished chrome cup pulls and faucets, gray and white granite/quartzite counters, white subway tile backsplash, farmhouse sink, and dark stained wood floors. You probably get the picture. ;)

Do these lights go together? Do they fit the style of my kitchen?

hmmm, not sure. The finish for sure matches, but the top one has much more graceful curves and the wrought iron is rounded. The second one has tighter curves and the iron is flatter. JMHO

I think it depends on how close together they will hang.

I think that overall what you are describing sounds very nice and either would be a nice addition. I am just not so sure that they are a match together. There aren't any matches (i.e more in the collection) to the top one you are in love with?

I love them together. Matchy-matchy is out. Creating an interesting design that's unique and speaks to you is the way to go. Nice choices!

It will look really nice. What is the glass on the light, is it onyz? My lighting matches way too much. Sort of looks like I bought one of those boxes that has several different lights in it, but all the same style. No personality.

I don't mean to takeover this post but I am having a dilemma with my light for my island and my dining room table. My table is a simple cherry table with ladder back chairs and natural hickory wood floors and I am painting the room benjamin moore revere pewter. I really want a chandelier to soften the dining room given all of the wood. I thought that the uttermost fascination would work. However, you can see my kitchen island from the dining room so I think I need something a pendant for the island that will complement the dining room light. My island cabinets are white dove with calcutta marble.Any suggestions for a light for the island and one for the dining room?

Sorry for not posting back until now; all our things are finally moved into our new home. Now to clean the old one so we can get renters! Thank you all for your opinions and advice! I did go ahead and order the Kenmore range. I considered a GE range, but in the end, I would have had to pay almost 2xs as much for a similarly featured range. I did research through consumer reports, and for 2013, GE and Frigidaire tied for first, for brand reliability in the gas range category. Kenmore was just one point behind. I also have a Kenmore range in my old home (don't know if it was made by Frigidaire at that time), and it is at least 12 years old. It doesn't look pretty, but everything is still functioning well. Anyway, for the price I couldn't justify the GE purchase. There are both good and bad reviews for both brands. It seems you either luck out with a good appliance, or a problematic one, in either case! Thanks again!

I don't see much commonality between them, aside from the fact that they both have some clear glass. The first is arts and crafts/modern, with parallel lines, cylinders, and frosted glass. The second is much more traditional, with splayed lines and exposed "candles." The styles are very different and the finishes don't seem to match. What style is your kitchen?

Fantastic! The chandelier is definitely more *sparkle* than anything else going in our house. The rest of our fixtures are a mix of mason jar lights, drum shades, cage lanterns, and cheapo "boob lights". I love sparkle and glitter, but I'm never brave enough to commit. Thanks for the much needed second/third/fourth opinion. I am super excited about this decision!!! :-)

I love them. Everyone tells me lanterns aren't great for islands b/c the lights shine up instead of down... yet I see them all the time?
