I think it would say

"You new Dum-dum. You give me gum-gum"

But, only those that have seen Night of the Musuem 100 times like my boys have, would think this :)

I swear, it looks like a face, and it's driving me NUTS!

The kids think it's hilarious. I honestly don't know if I can take it, lol.

LOL! Give it some gum-gum, open the door, and maybe Ben Stiller as the perfect father will pop out! I loved that movie!

Definitely name it.

I'm trying so hard not to laugh. I never would have seen it had you not pointed it out and I doubt sincerely your guests will see it if you don't tell them. At least it's a happy face, and not an evil one! Although now that you did point it out I kinda' want to put a wig on it... maybe something with long blonde yarn braids... lol!

Answering my own question. Ha. Model came out in early 2012. Found out it's the french door sitting at 29 1/2" (plus 1" rear vent or 30 1/2") that are 36" in width, the fridge case or box itself is 35 5/8". Needs 1/2" side panels minimum. Might just work as current fridge side panels are 5/8" on both sides. Electrolux refrigerators have wheels for easier sliding.

Top is like a French door Fridge. Bottom is two doors like a side by side with slide out drawers. The right side can function as a freezer or a fridge it has 4 temp settings. Each freezer side has 6+ cf of space. I would like this over holidays when we have a house full of overnighters and could use the extra crisper drawers. I'm wondering if its ugly. Well uglier than most fridges.

I did, thank you for asking! Friday. I changed jobs over the holidays and a long, rather funny (to me) situation happened, to where I HATE (HATE HATE HATE) what I'm doing the the commute to get where I'm doing it. HATE it. I'm miserable going to work. So I started looking again. I even gave notice before another job has come through. I do need the well wishes. :) You can never have too many!

ILoveRed, I had thought about that (the higher seating), but we are both tall, so it's not a very big step up, but that's a very good point. I may have to revisit that idea. reff31, we do have a much different lifestyle than most people, so it does make it hard to design because our own needs are not the same as the vast majority of people's who are building a home, but I have gotten some really great input that has made a huge difference in my planning, and I have completely redone the kitchen, which was a mess. (It still needs some tweaking.) Cherie, I think that's not a bad idea of the prep sink by the cooktop. I tire of balancing things on my cutting board or dripping across the floor from the sink to the cooktop in order to get from prep to the stove. I am going to give that some thought. It would solve a couple of issues. I am going to have an outdoor shower by the pool. I have one now and absolutely adore it. I have a pretty outdoor table with shower gel and shampoos, and keep some fluffy towels in the sunroom I can grab on the way out. There is nothing like taking a shower outside in the sunlight! It's also great to rinse off after working outside and then jump in the pool for a refreshing dip without even having to go into the house. The master bathroom has two separate vanities - one for each of us. The bathroom is actually the same configuration we have now, and works very well for us. My husband has a home office and stays well clear when I am getting ready for work in the morning, lol. mama goose, I meant to snap a pic of our current two-level island last night but forgot. In looking at the photo of one similar to mine, it seems welcoming for a drink but not for a meal. (If that makes sense?) Hmmm, that's a problem for me. I think I may have to move the prep sink from the island to the counter, and make the island a combo of smaller prep/serving space and regular dining height seating. I agree with everyone it's not going to work well to try and have a giant elevated bar height seating space there. Or back off on my island size altogether and combine it with a separate table and seating at the back of it as suggested earlier. Edited to add, I think I may have found the perfect solution - I really like this idea a lot! How wide/deep do you think this island is? There's plenty of room on the great room side to extend seating in that direction. Here's a photo similar to what I have in mind for the microwave.

HILARIOUS!!!! I would have never seen it either, but now that you have mentioned it........ But guess what? You have made a memory that your boys will laugh about into old age - "Remember that fridge we had?"........Well worth it!!!!!

PS - I think whatever is in the clear glass container on top should be replaced with gum balls in case of emergency!!!

I hope you know we're teasing you. Seriously, I have to look hard and think about it to see it. I suspect you won't even think about it in a while, but how fabulous to have a brand new fridge! I'd trade you for mine in a heartbeat. I certainly didn't mean to offend you with the picture. I just thought you and your family would get a chuckle out of it, but if not, please just ignore it. Now I feel sad because I intended to make you laugh; I sure didn't mean to make you sad. :(

And that wasn't me who made that comment...but, mclarke. So, please..don't think I was offended in the least. I LOVED it, and so did my kids. I've got one literally on the floor right now, doubled over in tears, cause the little goober is laughing so hard.

And so far, I think I'm really going to like Mr (or now, Mrs with the nice braids and lipstick, lol) Fridge. I love having the fridge stuff eye level.
I really just can't help laugh when I walk in the kitchen, though. And now, I'm going to see if I can pull of Oceana's look on the actual fridge, for when Dh comes home from work :) :)

Oh, and the gumball idea...I like it :) :)

Oh, and side note. The not so bright 5 yr old just ran out to look at the fridge, said "it's not like that right now", HEHEHE. He thought it really looked like that, and I took the pic. Aww, so innocent :)

OMG, I don't often laugh at posts but this one had me roaring! Oceanna, that was a great mock-up.

Momto4boys, you are a visual thinker, like myself (and I imagine many of us interested in design). Perhaps you can relate to this: all my life everytime I looked at an electric socket I saw a face. A very surprised face! An OH NO MR. BILL kind of suprised face! I once mentioned it so some loved ones and I think they thought I was psychotic. Go ahead people unplug something and look at the face staring back at you! How would you describe it???

Momto4 I'm so glad your family got a chuckle out of it! I had hoped they would. Glad I was only having a senior moment there.

Hahaha on your 5-year old thinking you took that picture!

Of course, you could always print out my picture and hang it on the... um... fridge... lol. Or how about this? Find a nice frame for four pictures. Print out four pictures of your fridge. Ask each child to draw on the face they think the fridge should have. Or if they can't draw you can cut out eyes and lips and hair from magazine pictures and they can glue them on. Then frame those and hang them in your kitchen. I think this fridge of yours is going to make family history and put smiles on your faces for a long time. :D

Of course fridges are female! Like Mother Earth they serve up the good food. Have you named "her" yet?
