It would be better for you to choose your granite first. Perhaps you might find the Cafe Brown Silgranit ends up looking good, or the anthracite, or any of the other colors. Why do you want to pick a sink color before picking your granite color? If you are worried about lead time for getting the sink, we bought our Silgranit sink from qualitybath, and it arrived 2 days after we ordered it. Having said that, we have the anthracite silgranit sink. The anthracite/black shows nothing. I have read on this forum that the white and biscuit silgranits don't stain, and are easy to clean. Nevertheless, when you scrape spaghetti or whatever into the sink, before you get around to cleaning it, it will be more obvious against a light color sink than it would against a dark color sink. Not sure if that would bother you or not. Regardless, I would still wait until picking the granite to choose the sink color. As to the sink shape, you said 40195--did you mean 440195, the Blancoprecis Super Single? Except 440195 is 33" wide, and you said 30-1/2". Well, if you did mean 440195 which is the rectangular model with the corner drain, it will not be a problem to reach the faucet. We have the Blancoprecis which is 17" deep, and the faucet is no problem, and I have short arms. You need to pay attention to the reach measurement of whichever faucet you choose. Some of the high arch faucets have short reaches; if you are concerned with reach, avoid those.

So there will be a lot of Mojave going on. Now that we've decided on that, there are fewer options/combos for the sink. We have all black appliances. Cabinets are maple with praline stain. Here are our options. Which would you go with, given color and function? 1. Sink in Silgranit-biscuit (to match countertop) 2. Sink in Silgranit-cafe brown (to match countertop & cabinets) 3. Sink in Silgranit-anthracite (to match appliances) 4. Sink in Stainless steel Thanks in advance for your input!

If you do a search at the bottom of the page under blanco silgranit sinks you should see a lot of posts pop up. There's been several posts on this subject. I have the Blanco super single precis in the black. My faucet is the Kohler Forte in stainless. My appliances are stainless also. Most love their silgranit sinks. HTH.

Nice photo, zeltgast. The truffle / nougat combo looks good. Which makes sense: While nougat on its own registers 'white' to me, I'm often surprised at how beige it looks next to white subway tile. It sounds like I'm safe so long as I don't do something jarring. This is good news. I'll try to find a store where I can to see Blanco sinks in person. Although gray samples are out of stock, I was able to order the white and biscuit samples from Blanco. So I'll be able to compare at least those two easily.
