The kitchen sink has always been a different color from anything else. I would look around for more local samples. Most of the high end plumbing houses in my area have small samples for you to look at. Pick what you would like to look at.

Yes, plumbing showrooms should have samples. Or maybe someone would be willing to stick their samples in a padded envelope and mail them to you. The white looked very chalky to me, but I bet the metallic gray would be nice with your quartz.

I sell Blanco sinks all the time and recommend them over stainless if you want a different look. The difference is more than just the color but the overall texture and material is well worth looking at. I would try to find a local place that can show you samples as I have all colors here and match up for clients all the time :)

I would suggest the white sink over stainless.

I would think either white or metallic gray would be great. Cinder is a little bit brownish, more so than anything you've got going on as far as I can tell. But I would not want to make a final decision on color for anything based only on photos. Do you have a countertop sample you can take with you to look at sinks?

Sinks aren't seen the way a dishwasher or refrigerator are. I wouldn't worry too much.

I have that stone on my buffet, and it is very versatile with all of the little specks. I think you would be safe with any color except for the white.

Nice photo, zeltgast. The truffle / nougat combo looks good. Which makes sense: While nougat on its own registers 'white' to me, I'm often surprised at how beige it looks next to white subway tile.

It sounds like I'm safe so long as I don't do something jarring. This is good news.

I'll try to find a store where I can to see Blanco sinks in person. Although gray samples are out of stock, I was able to order the white and biscuit samples from Blanco. So I'll be able to compare at least those two easily.
