tumbled travertine-backsplash sealing question

I have done a search and have not found an answer to this particular question, hope someone can help me. My backsplash has been installed, it's tumbled travertine in a 2 x 4 subway style. It hasn't been grouted yet. I don't want to enhance the color, and I DO want the grout to fill in the pits in the tile. I bought Miracle 511 Impregnator sealer. Should I seal the tile before grouting? Will the sealer prevent the grout from adhering in the little pits and crevices in the tile? I'm afraid if I don't seal the tile before grouting, the grout will change the color of the tile.

Thanks!
