anyone have experience with Seamless Sinks

I'm considering the 1/2" radius stainless steel sink from www.seamlesssink.com, but I can't find any reviews of their products other than what is on their website. Does anyone have any experience with them or the products?

Hello Lauren,
I just ordered a custom sink from them. I spoke with Dan several times prior to purchasing the sink. I was very impressed with him and his company. He guarantees my satisfaction on my purchase. This is the picture of what I ordered....although it will take 12 weeks to receive. Therefore I can't comment on the product itself, I expect to be very happy. I chose to put my drain in the right rear of the sink- This allows for the drain in the single bowl sink to not be covered all the time with dishes etc.....and it will also allow for more room under the sink being that all the drain parts are off to one side. I will post more about the sink when I get it.

I think it's a beautiful product.

I am about to purchase a seamless sink. I have searched relentlessly and cannot find a sink that is as beautiful. The price is a bit salty. Do you have any "buyer's remorse"?

The process of undermounting to laminate is suspect for longevity. There's only a thin layer of plastic that is 1 chip away from leaking. It would probably be OK for a light use from adults, but I wouldn't put it in any other home. All of my fabricators checked out the process, and most of them refused to do it because of the potential for leaks. I only have one guy that will do it, and by the time you add in the $700 fee for it, and sign the waiver he requires, you really aren't that far from a basic granite. The last quote I did for it was $2300 for the laminate installed, and the granite was only $2500 installed, with the free stainless sink my granite fabricator offers with at least a 40 square foot purchase. Don't rule stone out because you think it's out of your budget. It probably isn't. Laminate has got pricier, and stone has gotten cheaper. Something like Uba Tuba is probably one of the most functional choices around. And one of the least expensive for a solid counter that will let you do an undermount. If you want an undermount, that's what you need to be looking at. Some type of solid counter like a stone or acrylic solid surface. Not laminate.

@Kelly, thanks for sharing. I'm going to assume most folks must really like them, or we would being seeing negative reviews by now. @Kim, no, I haven't picked my sink yet. I'm meeting with someone tomorrow to discuss cabinet layout. As soon as I have that finalized, I'll pick a sink. I haven't priced Koehler sinks in a few months, but sounds like I need to look at them again. Originally I was looking at a workstation sink & Kohler was a lot more $. I've since settled on a cleanup & prep sink, so the smaller sinks may be comparable in price. I'll have to check.

We ordered a clawfoot tub from them and were very satisfied with both the product and the service. We have loved having a cast iron tub for the first time. Woudl definitely order from them again if I was doimg a vintage farmhouse sort of look. My next build is a tad more modern spo going a different direction this time but if a tiub they have fits your style, go for it without reservations.

The Engima Valley counter is absolutely beautiful, but I would NEVER install it again. I've only had it installed for a month and I already have two big chips in the island. I keep my house immaculate, including wiping down the counters every time I cook to ensure it isn't damaged by red sauce or acidity from lemons. I already have light stains forming on the island. I have marble in my bathrooms that's holding up better than the Enigma quartz. I reached out to Enigma for help filling in the chips. They redirected my email to the store I purchased the stone from who then redirected me to my fabricator for help filling them in. Really disappointed all around, especially since it was $5700 for one slab and fabrication/install.

I actually am suppose to get delivery today. It took a bit longer to receive due to various reasons......I will keep you posted on my opinion.....Again, Dan was great! Although it will still be a while to actually use it....(going to granite fabricator's)...to give a proper review. I don't expect anything bad with the exception of not wanting to use it and not to worry about scratches etc. But just like a new car-- that will pass.
Beautiful item.....! Mine is a custom size....therefore one reason it took a while.

Please follow up on the seamless sink that you ordered from Dan. I am thinking of ordering one but can't find anyone that has one from this somewhat new manufacturer.
