New Silestone is scratched...Compensation from fabricator?

Luv2Laf

My new Silestone has several small scratches confirmed today by a visit from a Cosentino rep. He said the fabricator needs to either give me compensation for the scratches, or replace it. The scratches are the size of a dime, are white (Amazon grey is the color of the Silestone) and are located toward the back of the counter. There are 5 one one piece - about 3 feet long. The other piece, also about 3 feet long has about 7 of these scratches. The rep says the scratches are most likely from transport, as he says about the only think to make a scratch like that is from another piece of Silestone.

I'm looking for advise on how much 'compensation' I should ask for. Does anyone have a similar situation. TIA.
