Paintable Wallpaper anyone?

In my last post, I was looking for advice on wallpaper or no wallpaper for resale. I know the general rule is NO wallpaper. So, I decided I'd paint.

Wallpaper removal person was here yesterday. She worked for about 5 hours and said it was much worse than she thought. But she said that if I sanded and spackled a bit the walls should be fine.

This morning I started sanding the better of the two bathrooms and the walls are a mess. I don't even want to look at the other bathroom. I do not want to learn to spackle right now. Too many other things to do. I don't think paint is going to work.

I was looking online at textured wallpapers and I discovered Waverly Paintable Options. Lots of textures, some cute and fun, others neutral and classic. Of course I know I have to do neutral and classic! But, then I could paint and get the colors I want without resorting to spackle.

Any experience with this stuff? And if you think I should try it, which texture do you like?
