How much do you want to spend? What finish is on the other lamps/hardware in the room? What is his style?

Something like this could work, and it's masculine enough. There are a couple of other finishes on the same page and the price ain't bad either. Availability may be in the store, on line only, or both. ;o)

1. Good question. Prefer under $400 each, but cannot tell from Web photos whether the quality is great or not. Extensions will have to be pretty long. The furniture is all scaled large.
2. Brushed chrome on contemporary ceiling fan; No other lamps in room yet; brushed chrome in adjacent bathroom
3. Contemporary; likes grays, brick reds, black, pure white, very dark wood

I like the Holtkotter Sconces, but they just are over $400 each. They come in a variety of finishes.
