Ogee, just put in a few days ago. I love the edge although it was expensive. See pix here:

I did Ogee on my first room, a bathroom and after looking at it, I decided I did not want that with the stainless steel so I went with a "bevel" (I think) surface in my kitchen. Victoria's looks fantastic with her kitchen. If my kitchen looked like that, I would have used Ogee there or even a triple waterfall, but ... now, the bathroom I used it in has that look and it's lovely.

I have a "demi bullnose".

In the master bath we have straight edge, sometimes referred to as an eased edge.

I have eased too. I love the chunky thick look of granite with eased edge. I had a marble top put on a built in buffee in the dining room and used ogee there for a dressier look.

Bullnose here too although I would have preferred Ogee! We had gotten to the bottom of our "upgrade" funds! LOL

We have a bullnose edge. I appreciate the rounded edge now that our toddler is at a height where she keeps bumping her head into it!

Bullnose on the counters around the periphery, double ogee on the island. Bullnose in the butler's pantry.

I remember there was a thread about one of the edges - if water rolled off the counter it went right under and into the cabinet drawers. I thought it was the full bullnose but I am not sure.
I have the bevel in the kitchen and half bullnose in the bathroom.

There are lots of different variations of an ogee edge - ogee I believe just refers to the lamination of another layer for a thicker look on the edge. We have an ogee bullnose edge - which means that the top layer is the top half of the bullnose, and the laminated layer is the bottom half.

Um, no. Ogee does not refer to whether the edge is laminated or not. It is a shape, although there are variations on it.

I have the eased edge on 3 different counters. My house is a cottage style and I feel the simplicity of it looks nice.

What style is your kitchen/house? Do you want simple or more ornate?

Straight edge in my last house, loved it. Classic and simple.

Beveled edge on my perimeter counters, and ogee edge on my island in my current house. Love them. I got the ogee edge free because my granite is so terribly done. At least I have a nice edge to detract from the awful workmanship elsewhere!

Eased edge on 2cm material. But my kitchen is contemporary.

Greenmtn, I'm in the process of redecorating, and I'd like a traditional look that lends itself to change with the right accessories. I, too, had thought of doing the island countertop with a different edge from the cabinets. I like the ogee/bullnose for my island, but I'm not sure which edge would look best on the other countertops.

We have a 3cm India Black Pearl granite with an eased edge. Like "Mimi 2006" we like the classic, non-fussy, look of it.

I have beveled edge and think it works well with any style.
