There are ALOT of gray porcelain tiles that could work with that stone. Do you want a porcelain? They make look alikes for travertine, slate, durango stone, etc. OR... do you prefer a natural stone that is honed, filled, etc. and might reguire more maintance? Last question... what size/format do you want? Rectange or square? I guess that depends on what kind of "pattern" you want in the flooring (ie) diagonal, running bond, or that French something (Versaille?) pattern. There are sites you can go to and put in filters that might help you find a floor. stonelocator.com is one that comes to mind.

Have been looking mostly at porcelains. I'm not interested in the upkeep issues of stone, also probably out of my price range. I'll consider anything that's between 13 and 18". Don't know what versaille pattern is.

Look at the Crossville tile site which contains several porcelain tile examples and is available in most parts of the U.S. It is reasonably priced also.

There are several other porcelain tile manufacturers also - a search function on porcelain tile will yield some ideas on this site. I know contributors on this forum have suggested several beautiful ones in the past.

Your stone is beautiful and fairly busy. I'd tend to stay with something simple, rectified (smaller grout lines), and complimentary to one of the lighter colors in your granite. Someone mentioned to me somewhere that horizontal surfaces should blend or compliment well. Don't know if that is accurate or not, but it sounds good.

I've been away, sorry. Is that amber valley by American Olean in your bathroom? I was considering that one. I had to make a decision and went with Crossville, Color Blox, Sea Otter. A little more brown than I wanted but we'll see. Thanks all for your input.

Glad you found something, that is all that matters. Mine was the from the Angora Collection and the color was Portifino Ivory.

OMG what a gorgeous granite! I'd go with something creamy/beigey, like Durango. Something that won't compete with the granite. Then maybe pull the dark brown out of the granite for your cabinet color & did you say there's some green in the slab ? Pull that out for the wall color. I don't see much grey in that slab & I'm not much on grey anyway...

We just picked out our two slabs of "Golden Beach" granite, however our supplier calls it "Dourado Areia". Now for the cabinets!
