Finish OTHER Than Nickel or Pewter, Etc for White Kitchen

Old kitchen has been demo'd and now my anxiety is officially kicking in! My vision was white cabinets, hardwood floor (gunsmoke to match rest of house--don't be surprised to see another thread about my floor issue), white marble on perimeter counters and dark (chocolatey) wood top for island. Appliances are stainless steel. Planning on a dark copper undermount sink. I've had a burnished/antiqued brass finish in my head for the hardware, faucet, and island pendants.

Now I'm wondering if I'm nuts not to go with the more commonly seen sliver tones or ORB for the hardware, faucet, and lights. I know so much of this is personal preference and personal taste, but my stomach is starting to hurt a little from all the choices and decisions. Okay, more than a little! Any thoughts?

This is one of the pulls I'm considering:
